Trump opts out of next debate, so Fox cancels it
Canada Free Press ^ | 03/16/16 | Robert Laurie

No Trump, no show.

Earlier today, Donald Trump announced that he wasn’t going to participate in the next GOP debate, which was scheduled to take place in Salt Lake City next week. Trump told Fox News “I think we’ve had enough debates,” and would instead be “making a major speech in front of a very important group of people.”

Reaction to this was split.

If you like Trump, you think that he doesn’t need to debate anymore. He just came off a series of major wins, and another night at the podium does nothing but give his detractors an opportunity to attack.

Cruz will “mop the floor” with Trump one-on-one...and then he’ll win all the southern states and the evangelical vote...oh wait...

Kelly , she thought she had another chance to attack him and make the debates all about her.

Yeah, and they should do it real soon, because I am getting real damn sick of Ted Cruz’s s*** eating weasel face.

Give me a C!
Give me an O!
Give me a W!
Give me an A!
Give me an R!
Give me a D!

What does that spell?

DONALD, DONALD, DONALD!

Can’t blame the guy. Who would want to be embarrassed by Cruz one-on-one?

Trump is right to avoid Cruz, so his followers can continue to believe that he is the best candidate.

Why take a day or two to fly out for 2 hours of being attacked? He can do better by campaigning in NY, NJ and PA. Most people are tired of these food fights.

Pray America wakes

Right from the start, Trump was smart enough to avoid a debate with Cruz. Trump’s blood would be splattered on the floor.

How much does Kelly cost Fox in advertisements? Many people refuse to watch her now.

Krauthammer, Hume and Kelly can debate instead. They seem to have all the answers.

Why, was Cruz going to hold Trump down while his psycho friend Beck stabbed him?

Ted has a bigger ego than Trump. Most would assume that’s impossible , then again nothing is impossible to a noble, and wise Harvard man like Cruz.

If the GOPe thinks that these other candidates are so much better, and have so much more to offer, you would think that they would jump at the idea of losing the candidate they don’t like in order to showcase the talents of the ones that they do like. That does not appear to be the case though... imagine that :/

Trump is going to be the big man who faces down Putin, the Chinese, and ISIS - yet he runs like a girl from a GOP primary debate?

A face to face debate is almost archaic in this day age of so much information being made available through so many various means. Who cares which guy can speak the best about the issues while standing behind a podium? Yes that is definitely Cruz strong suit. But Trump certainly gets his messages across PLUS he has many much more useful skills than talking.

Oh dear! I will miss Rove’s comments and the pollster afterwards, with a bunch of people who love Trump or hate Trump. Frank will not get much more air time to ask people who liked Trump and now hate Trump for some crazy reason.
They can focus on why Hillary has any new voters running to her as a grandmother figure.
