All valid question in my opinion.
This is getting silly. I hope that we don’t have many constituent kooks getting into this tin foil hat nonsense.
“This is not a conspiracy theory, this is real”... said every conspiracy theorist ever.

The man was nearly 80 years old and had some heart issues.
My father was 75 with similar heart issues. He walked across the parking lot doing his “happy walk”, got halfway into the car, turned to my mom and said “Thank-—” and dropped dead.
Scalia died in his sleep. There is no “there” there.
With a public official, the autopsy should be automatic. The squealing about it should raise flags.
Some people love to be paranoid. Scalia’s successor is the real issue here.
How long before Secret Service details are ordered for all Supreme Court Justices?
“Did the US Marshal smell his breath for any unusual odor that might suggest poisoning?”
Being that Justice Scalia was dead, I doubt any one smelled his breath.
When this news broke, I posted that Gov Abbott should send in the Texas Rangers to oversee things. Federal marshals and FBI agents are likely to be controlled by Baraqqi partisans.
Unfortunately that didn’t happen.
But I realize sometimes old guys just croak.
Read more sites than right wing conspiracy blogs and you may just find the answer to your question.
Ask yourself what someone’s medical doctor—a personal doctor who met with the decedent last week, and reviewed an MRI of the heat, lungs, and kidney. A decedent who had diabetes, was overweight, had well progressed heart disease, and other “chronic” illnesses for an overweight man in a stress job—still actively working at 79.
I understand the frustration associated with the folks not following what is perceived to be “standard operating procedures.” I know in my town, they would have dispatched a paramedic who would have called it if the patient was cold, stiff and blue. I know that if the death was unattended and “special” an ME would be dispatched.
But this is in an area where people die alone all of the time due to circumstances. The first thought is to find out if the person was sick...was the death unexpected? In most cases a call to the personal doctor would result in a comment such as, “I saw him last week, and he was in the final stages of [fill in the blank]. No obvious signs of trauma or other indications of foul play?
The reason for this process in those types of situations is that grandpa shouldn’t have to lay around all day in his death bed in Texas heat. Instead of wasting the resources of sending a paramedic to a dead person, you send the undertaker.
I understand all of the conspiracy stuff. But, if you think of this critically, in the context in which it happened, there is nothing abnormal about it. And it follows the wishes of the family.
When you or I die, we stop being important to our work or our customers. We, in a physician sense, are only important to our families. Their wishes are paramount.
I don’t think he was murdered. He was 79, had health issues and had been to doctors fairly recently.
But the no autopsy thing is extremely odd.
They always do an autopsy when someone dies who is not under a doctor’s care.
At least that’s what I thought.

BREAKING: Obama says he will seek to replace Scalia with "a Muslim Mexican lesbian Wiccan priestess marijuana farmer"
OH LORD! Here we go. This question will be asked and answered for the next 100 years.
The proponents of abortion, of which there are too many to number, would murder in a heartbeat and feel no compunctions about it.
The circumstances around Scalia’s death is almost an embarrassment of convenience.
“As a former homicide commander, I am stunned that no autopsy was ordered for Justice Scalia.”
As a retired detective Sergeant and deputy Coroner for my Sheriff’s Department and the people of my county (30 years of service), I too am stunned that no autopsy was ordered for Justice Scalia.”
With any death investigation the search is for the truth, we may never know the truth.
He may have died by natural causes, maybe not. My question is this: why do controversial deaths, heart attacks, suicides, falling off balconies, plane crashes, etc. always end up being beneficial to Democrats? Can someone name just one instance when someone’s death was a strategic loss to the Dems? I’m just curious.
To those posters that mock anyone that thinks an investigation is needed:
How do you know that he had heart issues? Due to confidentiallity and HIPPA his medical history has not been released.
I have seen no evidence that he was ever examined by a physician.
Why the haste to embalm?
