Stephen King: Cruz ‘Scarier’ Than ‘President’ Trump Because ‘Cruz Fundamentalist’
The Inquisitr News ^ | February 15, 2016 | Patrick Frye

Posted on 02/15/2016 4:09:29 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

According to horror master Stephen King, Donald Trump is actually not all that scary compared to other options running for president of the United States. King believes that Ted Cruz winning the election is the "scarier" of the two options since "Cruz is a fundamentalist Christian," which King compares to an Islamic Imam....

Sweetie, we’re not slouching towards it, we’re there.

I wouldn’t have believed a criminal or a communist could win if I hadn’t had to live through the shock of seeing BO elected TWICE.

If it weren’t for my children and grandchildren..........

But leftists do have a pronounced sense of smell when it comes to ideology.

This is why Democrats NEVER nominate a Supreme Court justice who EVER votes against their leftist views. The reason Republicans fail is because they haven't all taken the time to UNDERSTAND the leftist and the conservative philosophy and officially signed onto the conservative philosophy. And we see that mistake taking its latest form in the elevation of Trump. Trump isn't a conservative, doesn't understand the movement and is being backed by people who value the movement so little that they'll throw it in the trash just because a flashy celebrity lets some colorful insults fly from the podium. We cannot defeat leftists unless we build and maintain a movement that is defined by ISSUES, not by personalities.

On the Democrat side, they are in the process of abandoning their name brand celebrity candidate Clinton in favor of someone who actually passionately believes in the issues they care about. If they nominate Sanders and we nominate Trump, we will lose in a landslide. Passion for a philosophy is a much stronger and more potent force than infatuation with an individual, which inevitably evaporates as that person proves to be less than godlike.

1. No, electing a fundamentalist Christian is not like electing an Imam. An ignorant comment.
2. King’s argument that a fundamentalist Christian would follow scripture instead of the Constitution is akin to the anti-Catholic argument that JFK would follow the Pope instead. We have three Catholics running now. I wonder if he would like to dust that one off.

More like indignation that Cruz exploits our Savior for the sake of his ambition & makes us look bad (which potentially repels people who might not yet be Believers).

What I know about Stephen King (not much/ the hype) is also repellant to me, so I really don’t care what he has to say.

There’s no reason to engage in the fight if you’re going to pre-emptively surrender. Republicans always have a chance to win. Cruz is wise enough to have figured out that Obama won not because people love his philosophy, but because he was a wily and technically advanced campaigner. That’s what it takes to win. Great marketing. And Cruz has shown more smarts with his ground game and turnout effort than any of the others. You also need a candidate who can communicate well, especially in the debates, and Cruz is far more articulate than McCain and Romney were.

Don’t google Christians who advocate stoning.
The Seven Mountains doctrine (or whatever it is) seems to advocate pillage of those they deem ‘’wicked’’.
Joel’s Army (at least) advocates ‘’converting’’ people who don’t believe as they do (including ‘’other’’ Christians & Jews) at gunpoint, under threat of death.

Slippery slope alert. Bring your cleats.

I thought King was the horror master for years and years. Then I began reading Clive Barker’s books.

Not talked about much now, but Jimmy Carter was talked of quite a bit as a born again Christian when he ran for president. Perhaps that doesn’t matter because carter was a democrat.......

Carter talked about being Christian. Did he behave as a Christian? He presents himself as a bitter, angry, antisemitic.

I get a chuckle out of the ‘nobody likes Cruz’ criticism. He’s in the Senate, which is full of RINOs and Dems.

Should we be voting for someone they *do* like?

Those who hate Cruz prefer to be represented by those whose breath smells like liberal butt holes.

Does anyone like Cruz but the Zombies here

My guess is that you have nothing to worry about from zombies. They're attracted to living people with brains.

So anyone whos doesn’t worship Trump is a Zombie?

A common practice of liberals is to project their behavior onto others.

Fang says we’re voting early this week. I’ve decided I’ll
vote for TED CRUZ. Trump’s out of line on Iraq. Bush felt
that he had to stop Hussein because he had invaded Kuwait &
Bush felt at the time that Hussein would repeat the
invasion and seizure of oil with other countries. At the
time, he stated that he would not make the same mistake with
Hussein as the world made with Hitler before WWII.

I still think Cruz needs to shampoo his hair & not slick it
down with so much Brylcreem & also wear more red ties and
interesting ones.

Hey, I’m not surrendering. I’m voting for Trump. He’s the only one running that has a chance to beat the dimocrats. If you want to talk to people who surrender, talk to the people around here that took their ball and went home and refused to vote when Romney got the nomination. They and dimocrat voter fraud is what tipped the scale for Obama. Don’t be surprised when Cruz supporters do the same thing when he doesn’t win the nomination. There’s no doubt Cruz is articulate but then you don’t get to be a slick talking lawyer/politician if you’re not. Yeah, his turnout is so good, he’s 20% below Trump.

So if Trump the human gumball machine dropped dead tomorrow no one on free republic could possibly pull the lever for the evil slick awful scary Ted Cruz so they will be voting for hillary or Bernie. How fabulous. JESUS help us. U.S. Is doomed.
