What good is an ideology if you can’t get anything done. Trump will get things done per a conservative leaning ideology he espouses. This ideological purity crap is for the USSR not the USA.

Reagan legalized abortion and passed anti gun laws in California. And was divorced. So he would fail the modern conservative purity test.

I’m a Cruzer. Not a Trump fan.
But this infantile, immature grade school attack is stupid.
A month ago Trump supporters on Freerepublic were declaring that he was a conservative. In the last week, we have more and more Trump supporters coming out and saying they don’t care that he isn’t a conservative.
I ask as sober, serious question to the Trump supporters here. If you came to the conclusion in your own mind that Donald Trump was not guided by conservative principles, would that cause your support for him to waver?
If not, what would it honestly take for your support to waver?
You don’t have to respond, I just want you to ask yourself that question.
I’d prefer Cruz but without Trump Jethro would already be enthroned, so I’ll take either one.
That’s a stupid comment - Obama did not run as a conservative. Trump will get things done as a conservative leaning president. You want a feckless conservative who won’t get things done? Vote Rubio - I don’t think he even shows up to work in the senate anymore.
Here’s a serious question for you: If Trump had not entered the race, who would have won Iowa and New Hampshire and been on his dynastic way to an epic loss in November?

The fervent Trump supporters posting here today; will be calling for his resignation 6 months after he takes office.
We need a real conservative who wants to shrink government; not make it “better”.
I don’t want “better” government; I want much less of it.
I want to be left alone.
Trump should ban all Canadians from entering the country also.
