I AM SO DAMN HAPPY that FINALLY there’s SOMEONE running we have decided to defend through thick and thin !!!! It is so great to see folks FINALLY say screw you he’s our guy and that is that!!! Bam. Your response hits the mark. ‘Pure’ conservatives don’t have the time to do things that actually solve problems. They’re too busy giving nuanced answers that ‘get to the root of the problem’. I saw some smug fool on Infowars (not Alex Jones, who supports Trump) who criticized Trump’s plan to build a wall because ‘it doesn’t understand the root of the problem’. He argued that if we got rid of the war on drugs, and made it less attractive for illegals to come here with benefits, etc. the problem would go away.
It amazes me when I hear clever idiots like this. He’s so impressed with his understanding of ‘root causes’, that he won’t back a plan that would make those root causes irrelevant. And he’s too stupid to understand how addressing the ‘root causes’ will always be an endless uphill battle. But, people like that are happy to watch illegal immigration destroy our country while they hold out for their ‘pure conservative’ solution that “’get’s to the root of the problem”.
