They had a similar situation in Indy a couple years ago that went far beyond just food stamp fraud. They were gaming all kinds of government programs.

When Katrina was about to hit and I simply mentioned that the 9th Ward and the Mayor of New Orleans were trying to cut a deal with the Governor about the % split for the “FREE MONEY” that was about to come their way.
All I had to do is mention that the folks in the 9th Ward were 3rd or 4th Generation Welfare and I was roundly repeatedly chastised and called a Racist, nearly Banned from this forum, now the 9th Ward is 5th Generation and wants to Maintain a “Culture” ... anyone that still wants to call me a Racist is welcome, anyone from those days that wants to apologize is welcome.
Fixing the problem now is much harder than it was then, and cost us at least a second term of Obama minimum. New Orleans is not alone...
Detroit = Free Money
Chicago = Free Money
Washington DC = Free Money
Anyplace Obama sends “Refugees” = Free Money
