The Insurgency Has Only Just Begun - We Absorb Vilification and Ridicule As Fuel
by sundance
"What so frightens the conservative movement about Trump's success is that he reveals just how thin the support for their ideas really is. His campaign is a rebuke to their institutions. It says the Republican Party doesn't need all these think tanks, all this supposed policy expertise. It says look at these people calling themselves libertarians and conservatives, the ones in tassel-loafers and bow ties. Have they made you more free? Have their endless policy papers and studies and books conserved anything for you? These people are worthless. They are defunct. You don't need them, and you're better off without them." (link)
There's a level of anger far deeper and more consequential than expressed rage or visible behavior - It is called "Cold Anger"!
Cold Anger does not need to go to violence. For those who carry it, no conversation is needed. You cannot poll or measure it; and even those who carry it avoid discussion; and that decision has nothing whatsoever to do with any form of correctness.
Cold Anger is not hatred, it is far more purposeful. Cold Anger absorbs betrayal silently, often prudently. Cold Anger is not driven to act in spite of itself; it drives a reckoning.
Cold Anger perceives deception the way a long-term battered spouse absorbs the blows in the hours prior to a pre-planned exit; with purpose. Delicate sensibilities are dispatched like a feather in a hurricane.

.the insurgency has only just begun !
Cold Anger absorbs consistent vilification and ridicule as fuel. This sensibility does not want to exist, it is forced to exist inside otherwise unwilling hosts - who also refuse to be destabilized by it.
Deliberate intent and prudence will insure avoiding failure. The course, is thoughtful vigilance; a strategy devoid of emotion.
Foolishness and betrayal of our nation have served to reveal dangers within our present condition. Misplaced corrective action, regardless of intent, is neither safe nor wise.
Cold Anger is not driven to act in spite of itself - it drives a reckoning.

Keep in mind that in America 2016 A.D. normal political means are no longer effective. To take this country back will require much blood and treasure.
If Trump or Cruz are elected President the Republicans and Democrats will simply stymie any attempt they make to correct things. Trump and Cruz will be easily handled by the elites who want money and power and D*mn the people. If by some miracle Trump and Cruz threaten to become really effective agents of material change the combined forces of Democrats and Republicans will simply treat them as Liberalism did "Ole" Huey Long in the 1930's.

Keep in mind that pessimism is an unhealthy trait that can diminish those it afflicts.

The Roman Empire lasted over four centuries in the west, and over fourteen centuries in the east, after it replaced the Roman Republic. Our Pompey (BHO) has been steadily destroying the republic; our Julius is about to cross the Rubicon, and our Republic will end—the vestiges of it will remain as they did in Rome, but the reality will end. The Founders knew this would happen someday, and that someday is today.

That sounds like Sebastian Shaw, played by Kevin Bacon, in "X-Men: First Class."
Trump's new baseball cap?

There was a time when National Socialists could draw large crowds. Is this a Bernie Sanders rally?
To: zeestephen
I take it you don’t know much about baseball.

On the contrary pessimism clears the air wiping away the fog composed of egalitarianism, tolerance, pacifism, love and peace and a devotion to that bestial philosophy of reducing the meaning of life to one of: eating, drinking, drugging, copulating, evacuating the bowels and snoring
