If Trump or Cruz are elected President the Republicans and Democrats will simply stymie any attempt they make to correct things. Trump and Cruz will be easily handled by the elites who want money and power and D*mn the people. If by some miracle Trump and Cruz threaten to become really effective agents of material change the combined forces of Democrats and Republicans will simply treat them as Liberalism did "Ole" Huey Long in the 1930's.
The Roman Empire lasted over four centuries in the west, and over fourteen centuries in the east, after it replaced the Roman Republic. Our Pompey (BHO) has been steadily destroying the republic; our Julius is about to cross the Rubicon, and our Republic will end—the vestiges of it will remain as they did in Rome, but the reality will end. The Founders knew this would happen someday, and that someday is today.

The problem is that the Establishment GOP, the beltway punditry, and the K Street Cabal views conservatism to mean caving into gloBULList corporate desire for open borders, cheap labor and off shoring of our industrial base. These libertarian views are not viewed as conservative by, well, real conservatives.

Sundance and CTH have hit a home run with this and judging by the duty babbler this thread has drawn, I’m not the only one around with that viewpoint.
