In the past I have posted regarding my wife's mental illness and the tough times we have endured because of it. Now I am devastated to tell you all that our 19 year old daughter took her own life on November 23rd. She was diagnosed as bi-polar and was very distraught over her best friend's suicide last year.
I've never had to go through anything near this bad and I pray none of you ever do. The loss of one's child is beyond horrendous. So far we've been doing ok but there are periods of extreme grief out of the blue and many tears. She was laid to rest this past Monday.
I ask that anyone who is willing to please pray for my daughter and my entire family.
I am so sorry for your loss...RIP
I have always believed there is nothing worse than losing a child, regardless of the circumstances. I cannot imagine the pain, the emptiness, the torment. It is beyond my comprehension.
My heart breaks for you. You are not alone in this grief. Many will hold you close in their thoughts and prayers, myself among them.
I wish you peace.

I ask that you reach out to the Lord and ask him to comfort you and your family. I will add my prayers for you and your family as well. The pain of losing a child is unbearable at times and as a parent who lost a Son at the age of 20, just try to focus on getting through each day. What has helped me and my family is knowing that we will see my Son again one day.
God is merciful to the sick. Jehovah God will restore what has been stolen.
I pray in the Name of Jesus The Christ for you and your family’s healing and comfort.
Prayers for you and your family on your terrible loss. May your daughter rest in peace.
So very, very sorry. Prayers for you and family, that soon your unbearable grief will be replaced with understanding and peace.
My deepest sympathies and my most heartfelt prayers belong to you.
I am so sorry for your loss and pain. Praying God will be close to you right now.
I am so very sorry. My heart and prayers go out to you and yours.
I am so very sorry for your loss; it’s every parent’s nightmare. May God grant you the peace only He can to walk this difficult road.
My platitudes certainly won't provide comfort - but I sincerely pray that the Good Lord applies His hand of comfort and peace. It is a sin-cursed world, stained with tears, but draw to the Rock that can't be shook. He is the only one who can calm the storm by His Word: Peace, be still. He alone knows the end from the beginning, and we trust in Him.
The chaos of the world around us cannot compare to the loss of a loved one. Please know that we will keep you and your family in our prayers. Praying that you will find comfort and strength in our Father above. You will see her again one day and she will be waiting for you with Him by her side.
Prayers for you and your family FRiend.
This is the most difficult thing I can imagine a parent going through.
My heartfelt prayers are with you and your wife, at this difficult time. My heart is aching, knowing the range of emotions you both must be experiencing. Please know that FRiends are here to listen, understand and pray.
Praying for His peace...and strength....and, in time, His comfort.
Sendings prayers and hugs.
My prayers for you and your family tonight. May you find rest in Jesus Christ, and may He give you peace.
So very sorry. I cannot imagine what you and her mom are going through.
My prayers for you and your family tonight. May you find rest in Jesus Christ, and may He give you peace.
I am so so sorry you have to go through this. The fog is normal and will come and go. Do not entertain any blame. She chose it and you love her anyway. Do not go there on assessing it further. Just love your wife and everyone else affected by it and let them love you back. We live in a fallen world and that means bad things happen and bad choices are made. It is always best to leave blame in the hands of the one who did it, even as you sympathize and love and miss them. Don’t let yourself wallow in figuring it out. There is no figuring it out. Just focus on what you can do — love the other hurting people around you and let them love you back.
Prayers Warriors...prayers needed for the loss of a child.
