I'm a Tea Partier. I detest Obama and the Progressive hoard that has Washington, DC and large portions of America in a death grip. So why don't I like Donald Trump?
Honestly, sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong with me these days. Why can't I get on the bandwagon along with so many others with whom I agree about most everything? ...
So what's the problem with Trump? In a nutshell: judgment, or rather a deficit of it, which in turn ought to make reasonable people otherwise inclined to agree with him to perhaps, think a bit harder about the consequences of their support for him in a precarious and dangerous world ...

Aha!
Obama is in on the conspiracy!
He’s saying EXACTLY what the media (who conspired to create the Trump candidacy) is saying.

Well, he certainly understands that the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is a Natural Right, and not a right "granted" to you by the Constitution.
There aren't a whole lot of people in this country that actually understand that critical little nuance...

Donald Trump has made grave personal, social and professional sacrifices in order to give Americans an incredible opportunity to pursue a genuinely pro-American, populist agenda.
If you’re an America-first conservative and you reject Trump, please don’t expect ANY other politicians to EVER genuinely stand up for your interests again.
You will have demonstrated that taking this extremely difficult and dangerous path(the pro-American path) is no longer possible in America.
“Oh my! I can’t vote for Trump... he once said something I disagree with!”
He has detailed position papers on lowering taxes, especially on businesses to bring jobs back. Details on illegal immigration that again, gives jobs back to Americans. Very conservative position details on the 2nd amendment.
I guess you want the same politicians that ran in 2012, yapping about being conservative, but with few details and didn’t vote conservatively when voted in.
I trust Trump to do what he says.
And watching him destroy the media is a bonus.
Ha, like we care what he has to say.
I don’t know exactly how or when, but I will be using your “why Trump” .jpg in the future.
Looks like you were right. :)
Trump is not a candidate as much as he is chemotherapy for the cancer that is the Amerikan Ruling Class. And I say this as a Cruz supporter.
It's been my experience that guys that are 6 foot 3, and very masculine, like Trump, generally don't take the "sensibilities" of swooning Southern belle-wannabes like yourself into account, Catherine.
They just nod politely, smiling, whilst you make a fool of yourself.
Ha ha!
Yes the Trump candidacy's unrealistic life and visibility is a total put-up job.
Is any other candidate being given such coverage?
NO!!!
Because no other candidate can screw up the conservative chances. Only leftie Trump.
Of course anyone that would attempt to converse with you must be as demented as you have proven yourself to be.

>> “Trump is not a candidate as much as he is chemotherapy for the cancer that is the Amerikan Ruling Class” <<
.
And he is every bit as ineffective, costly , and deadly as chemo is, but for
Aamerica, not the global thugs.
.
.
Just one thing, it was sacks of tea, not faggy tea bags, that went into Boston Harbor. :o)
.
.
>> “But Trump has done more than just made quips and has moved things forward in a way no other candidate or politician has or can.” <<
.
Only because the MSM enables him!
.
Which pro-amnesty, big business, beholden to lobbyist candidate do you want instead?
None of those will Dona thing, just like the congress of 2012. A bunch of traitors.
I wasn’t referring to someone like you, who appears to be still surveying the candidates and trying to make a thoughtful decision. I was referring to the band of raving mouth-frothers that have turned this thread into a 300+ post epic meltdown.
There isn’t anything wrong with having questions about any candidate. The ‘anti’ people don’t have questions. They’ve made up their mind. They are against Trump more than they’re ‘for’ anything else. They become more desperate and vitriolic towards his supporters by the day.
There’s even one of these jackasses (he even purports to be some kind of expert writer too) who is keeping a ‘list’ of FReepers who supported Trump, so he can come back and rub their noses in it later. That is unhinged, unhealthy, and obsessive behavior.
For me, it wasn’t a difficult decision to support Trump. In the past he made statements that weren’t always ‘conservative’. He financially supported a lot of Dems, including the Clintons.
If he was a regular politician, I’d toss him out as untrustworthy. But he isn’t a politician, therefore different standards apply.
If he is being untruthful about his policy prescriptions, what is the motivation for that? To get elected? Why? He didn’t have to do this at all. Are people really trying to contend that he jumped in just to run a gigantic ruse on all of us and give us a big Bronx cheer after he’s elected?
WHY? What on earth is the end game there?
He self-funds, so the normal conflicts of interest don’t apply to him. The guy has so much money that the presidency is actually a step down for him in many ways.
I cannot see any motivation for him to put forth the policies he has put forth and renege on his word later.
Is it still a gamble to support him? Yep. But it’s a far better bet than supporting ANY of the contenders who rely on donors. Certainly not when those donors may or may not have desires contrary to the stated positions of the candidate they paid to put into office.
Oh, honey, don’t mistake me for a swooner.
And for the record, I’ve always found Trump to be physically repulsive, with that big congested, red face and that funnel-shaped mouth. He sort of reminds me of a hunched old turtle.
You know the personality cult is in full swing when Donald Trump is being hyperventilated over and held up as a sex symbol...just like Obama in 2008.
You are assuming too much.
If you don’t like Trump, then there’s only Carson and Cruz that aren’t GOPe. Although Carson is wishy-washy on amnesty and Cruz has been wrong on more H1-B visas and on TPP.
Eliminating the GOPe candidates and choosing from the 3 left, Trump is the only one so far saying/doing the right things.
Since you generalized about me, I’ll do the same. You Trump haters think we think Trump is perfect. Far from it - but he is less imperfect than the others.
If you’re enjoying the revolt in the House, thank Trump and Carson. I don’t think the House conservatives would have had the courage without the rise of outsider candidates showing voters have had enough. The timing was suspicious-all but 24 Republicans voted Boohoo back in, knowing full well what he was. Voters called in droves to not vote for hum and were ignored. And less than a year later, they want to get rid of him? They needed a push, a leader, someone to follow. They got it from 1, maybe 2,outsiders who took in the media and establishment and skyrocketed in the polls because of it.
