I'm a Tea Partier. I detest Obama and the Progressive hoard that has Washington, DC and large portions of America in a death grip. So why don't I like Donald Trump?
Honestly, sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong with me these days. Why can't I get on the bandwagon along with so many others with whom I agree about most everything? ...
So what's the problem with Trump? In a nutshell: judgment, or rather a deficit of it, which in turn ought to make reasonable people otherwise inclined to agree with him to perhaps, think a bit harder about the consequences of their support for him in a precarious and dangerous world ...

Where’d you go old pal? Off ridge-running? Checking the still?
Visiting the chicken coop?
FYI, it’s considered good FR eddycutt to ping the object of your post, you know—especially when shooting your mouth off.
What I dont doubt is Trumps love for his country and his desire to stop the headlong dash to Cloward-Pivenchaos we all see coming.
Get's back to my original point. No Other Republican Candidate in Reality will Change a Thing in Washington DC. Trump is the Only One who may do that. Period. End of Story. .
You want things the same, or do you want to vote for someone who may alter and possibly reverse our path to destruction? It's your call. . Simplifies it for me.
The hell it don’t, ya cupcake.
Don't tell me why I know what I know about Trump. I lived in NY/NJ, this guy has been ubiquitous in our lives for decades. I've met Trump multiple times at Shea Stadium. He's spent hours and hours on the Howard Stern show in our area, talking candidly about his lifestyle and his beliefs. I know who he is from his own mouth. He's inherited great wealth and has since spent his life concerned only with self-promotion and self-aggrandizement.
Believing their lies destroys your credibility.
That's positively comical coming from somebody's who's fallen for this carney barker and his "cure-all-that-ails-you" mysterious political lotion.
Trump stands for big government in the service of big business. I'm a conservative and I will pass.
You’re the one talking about “droves.” Others are just saying why shouldn’t the GOP candidate reach a wider audience.
Your assertion that doing so—reaching more people than the GOP typically reaches—makes a candidate “Dem lite” is sheer lunacy. Dem lite is going light on the hordes of foreign invaders, enabling Obama’s disastrous TPA deal, and planning to flood the country with low cost foreign workers. It is not simply reaching a wider audience.
No wonder you’re against Trump, if reaching more voters with the GOP message is your definition of Dem lite.
LOL....don’t go confusing the mantra with facts ;-)
LMAO....
Fame, family and fortune I listed. Natural athleticism, a keen mind. Facility with women.
I didn’t even suggest that you might be envious of Trump. But if you think there aren’t any men who would be be envious of the things I’ve listed, I suggest you’ve either led a very sheltered life or you haven’t been paying attention.
;-)
Fin.
>>Trump stands for big government in the service of big business. I’m a conservative and I will pass.
What is a conservative these days? Everyone on FR is a conservative and none of them us seem to agree on anything.
I’m not against Trump.
Without him Jeb would probably be on his way.
Boner wouldn’t be stepping down (if he is still) nor McCarthy be giving up.
Trump’s candidacy has been great.
Not sure where You get the idea I am against Trump.
I’m watching manly Football.
Not baking cookies like you.
The irony is that the author blathers on about “judgment,” but if Trump really didn’t have any, he wouldn’t b e leading consistently.
My there are so many GOPe on this thread today. Karl Rove must have deployed his monkeys.
No, he's an American. And a proud one. I can't be the only person thinking that we've been rolled by self identified 'conservatives.'
I know Trump stands for me because of what he's saying. I don't trust anyone establishment, period; and I don't see self-identified 'conservatives' saying what needs to be said and doing what needs to be done.
Trump is laying out a platform plank by plank. That's a plus, and the positions are a delight. He says he'll do it...and he has more credibility there than any other candidate.
I've listened to his words and I've watched him make enemies and I've weighed the man. We should be so lucky to have Trump as President. Same with Cruz.
“Youre the one talking about droves.”
By the way, I didn’t say anything about droves or use that term.
Perhaps you are mixing up another post with mine.
“Facility” with women?
Does that mean having multiple wives? Using the term “piece of (blank) as a favorite term for females?
You think that should be envied?
Trump is a man who has a family. Some do, some don’t. Why would you think his family is any more of a shining example than others? Why would he be more envied than other family men?
His daughter is a feminist who pals around with Chelsea Clinton and quotes Lena Dunham. What’s great about that?
Natural athleticism...where is it? I don’t see it. He’s, what, seventy?
Yeah, but I think maybe you shouldn't be so hard on the guy.
Near as I can tell, The Donald hasn't actually had five different party affiliations. I count only three -- Dhimmi, GOP and Reform.
Then, party changes aside, he has changed wives only twice, whereas Rush has changed wives three times -- and nobody can question Rush's steadfast loyalty to conservative principles.
