The Pending Storm
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | September 20, 2015 | sundance

It has been building upon itself longer than most can remember. It is an anger that is out there, well beyond the visible boundary. This cannot be seen, it is felt – looming with certainty. It is a cold, watchful and mostly private anger….

red_hair

…something is more serious about this type. Deeper than hot anger, which attracts the brief attention of the media. This rage needs no further discussion amid those who carry it… It just is.

….The depth of this is far greater than has been seen before. A rage deeper than deliberate and more serious than mere resolve or purpose. There will be no quarter from this storm, no harbor worth finding.

"When normally non-violent men feel compelled to apply extrajudicial justice, it is an excruciating deliberation. They are fully aware that no system will protect them and that one day they will stand naked before their maker and have to justify their actions. No jury will deliberate harder or face the moral questions more squarely than moral men who have chosen an avenue of questionable morality out of necessity."

I have thought about it a lot. I’ve made many rounds in the field on the tractor, driven many miles, walked a lot and sat many nights and pondered it all. I am committed to acts of questionable morality out of necessity. A necessity that is becoming more compelling by the day.

The Gods of the Copybook Headings

AS I PASS through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place,
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch,
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch;
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings;
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "The Wages of Sin is Death."

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "If you don't work you die."

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!

The lesson’s there, but who will heed it?

We few. We happy few. That’s who.

Our “elites,” the ones running the show in DC and on Wall Street, have sold us out because they are much more comfortable in the company of their counterparts from Shanghai, Tokyo, Riyadh, London and Moscow than they are with any of us.

They all vacation together, they increasingly sit together on the same corporate and international boards and commissions, their children attend the same very private and exclusive schools, and marry each other.

It is an international ruling caste that perpetuates itself, and looks at us as pieces of meat to be disposed of as they see fit.

... and marry each other.

Not unlike the royal families of Europe prior to the Great War.

I was thinking of them, and the tycoon class well. A lot of them were swept away by the tidal waves of communism and fascism.

The same could be said for the royal families of Continental Europe before 1789, when the French Revolution swept many of them away, too.

The important thing is the outcome; it’s one thing to sweep away the ruling caste, but then what?

In talking to the people I associate with (Midwestern suburbanites), there is a common thread about Trump. I will summarize it with what they say, and translate it into what they mean.

What they say:

“Trump is not presidential material, but he’s saying a lot of things that need to be said.”

What they mean:

“America is being destroyed by illegal immigration, and I admire Trump for being able to say what I feel. But I won’t openly say that its immigration or that I would vote for Trump for fear of being labeled a hater.”

That’s how deeply the doctrine of political correctness has worked its way into our national psyche.

I, too have given much thought to the matter.

Predictably, in an effort to stop any such movement, the Ferals will become even more manipulative and totalitarian. It is the major trick in their bag.

They are working the PSYOPS angle to try to mold opinion, and some will fall for that, but those with skin in the game will grow ever more restless, more angry.

Even those who are subject to the pressure of 'social media' will become less so as they become aware of the subtleties of trolls and other internet creatures designed to mold opinion for the usurpers.

Sooner or later, everyone's ox gets gored.

Then it gets ugly.

Nope. It’ll be gradual and it won’t be by 2020. 2030? Much more likely.

Although labeled a HOAX...there are valid freedom concepts, respect for receiving cultures to ponder...
Let's hear it for a Quebec mayor...
Or as the commercial promoting pork says “put some pork on your fork”.......WAY TO GO QUEBEC...
MAYOR REFUSES TO REMOVE PORK FROM SCHOOL CANTEEN MENU... EXPLAINS WHY

Muslim parents demanded the abolition of pork in all the school canteens of a Montreal suburb. The mayor of the Montreal suburb of Dorval, has refused, and the town clerk sent a note to all parents to explain why...

“Muslims must understand that they have to adapt to Canada and Quebec, its customs, its traditions, its way of life, because that's where they chose to immigrate.
-- “They must understand that they have to integrate and learn to live in Quebec.
-- “They must understand that it is for them to change their lifestyle, not the Canadians who so generously welcomed them.
-- “They must understand that Canadians are neither racist nor xenophobic, they accepted many immigrants before Muslims (whereas the reverse is not true, in that Muslim states do not accept non-Muslim immigrants).
-- “That no more than other nations, Canadians are not willing to give up their identity, their culture.
-- “And if Canada is a land of welcome, it's not the Mayor of Dorval who welcomes foreigners, but the Canadian-Quebecois people as a whole.
-- “Finally, they must understand that in Canada (Quebec) with its Judeo-Christian roots, Christmas trees, churches and religious festivals, religion must remain in the private domain.
The municipality of Dorval was right to refuse any concessions to Islam and Sharia.

-- “For Muslims who disagree with secularism and do not feel comfortable in Canada, there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries in the world, most of them under-populated and ready to receive them with open halal arms in accordance with Shariah.
-- “If you left your country for Canada, and not for other Muslim countries, it is because you have considered that life is better in Canada than elsewhere.
-- “Ask yourself the question, just once, “Why is it better here in Canada than where you come from?”
-- “A canteen with pork is part of the answer.”

I think it is frustration by the law-abiding, those with a real stake in the American system who are seeing it bled and pickpocketed by “others” with no stake in the American culture, economy, or polity, all orchestrated by our own elites. Our elites are sell-outs.

and also...

“…her words were just another spark that fell into the dry tinder of audience anger…”

“…The back lash from over reach has always been proportionate to how far off center it went before coming back … right now we’re staring at a whole hell of a lot of the country…”

The English heritage of many Americans seems to be reasserting itself, and the long fuse may be close to its end.

“Absalom and Achitophel.”
( by John Dryden -1681)

“………………..“The Law shall still direct my peaceful Sway,
And the same Law teach Rebels to obey:
Votes shall no more Established Pow’r controul,
Such Votes as make a Part exceed the Whole:
No groundless Clamours shall my Friends remove (line 995)
Nor Crouds have pow’r to Punish e’r they Prove;
For Gods and God-like kings their Care express,
Still to defend their Servants in distress.

Oh that my Pow’r to Saving were confin’d:
Why am I forc’d, like Heav’n, against my mind, (line 1000 )
To make Examples of another Kind?
Must I at length the Sword of Justice draw? Oh curst Effects of necessary Law!
How ill my Fear they by my Mercy scan,
Beware the Fury of a Patient Man.” …………………………….” (line 1031)

complete 1031 line text “Absalom and Achitophel.”

Then what?

If history follows its normal pattern, as Rudyard Kipling put it, “... terror and slaughter return”.

I’m 67, but will not live under what Obozo engineers.

Nor will the majority of my neighbors. Will it come to Old Men defending the nation? Headshake.

My roots are deep and old here, this is where they will meet me. When the time comes to be planted in the earth, either by old age or by other cause, I expect to remain here where my ancestors are buried.

Our plots are just below those of my mother and her mother. Still have my father, he will soon be 90. He’s a WWII Vet and still loves guns, and quail hunting. His mind is not as nimble, but he can still shoot. God Bless him.

God Bless the U.S., God Bless Texas, God Bless your family and mine.

Lets pray they are sent to where their actions warrant. And do not pass GO.

I’ve been saying for years:

It is TIME to DownSize DC! Close entire Rogue/Unconstitutional Departments, including their SWAT Teams.

Force Congress to telecommute most of the year from their home district, under the thumb of the electorate.

Constitution states that Congress is required to meet at lest once per year and specifies the date (has been changed). It does not specify term nor frequency past that.

Texas Legislature meets once every 2 years, unless the Governor calls a special session. It has worked well for a very long time in TX. No reason something similar would not work for US Fed Gov.
