Ted Cruz and Donald Trump have united to fight the Iran nuclear agreement.
On Thursday, the Texas senator invited the real estate mogul to join him in rallying against the deal on the Capitol grounds, and Trump accepted.
The two Republican presidential candidates said they would do something very big over the next two weeks in Washington.
Trump made his announcement after a campaign rally in South Carolina, referring to Cruz as a friend of mine and a good guy.
The event will be sponsored by Tea Party Patriots, the Center for Security Policy, and the Zionist Organization of America, campaign spokesman Catherine Frazier told The Blaze.
We are thankful for all their hard work on this effort, and will have more details on time, date, and location as they are finalized, she said.
Trump, author of The Art of the Deal, also gave his thoughts on the Iran deal.
By the way, even if you break it up, they are going to get $150 billion, he said. You know what Id do? I wouldnt give them the money. I dont care what the deal I would not give them the money.244100#ixzz3k7FgqQja

Who will admit to being a Crumpet?
I am going to freak out. I am all in for Ted.
MSM is going to FREAK OUT!
Is this the beginning of Trump/Cruz 2016?
I could support a Cruz-Trump ticket, in that order.
>> Who will admit to being a Crumpet?
I will! I will!
It’s on now...
Cruz for President... Trump gets the contract to build the wall... put him in charge at Homeland Security.
The headline says they’re going to announce something very big...
But down the article the quote is this: “The two Republican presidential candidates said they would do something very big over the next two weeks in Washington.”
‘Doing something very big’ and ‘announcing something very big’ brings two very different ideas to mind, the way I see it.
Either way I’m sure it will ge good. Good for us...bad for the GOPe.
This rally just took a quantum leap forward.
well....this is just too men doing the right thing.
are their campaign implications? of course. but regardless...this is just right.
(I like your thought, though!!)
Trump/Cruz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>> well....this is just two men doing the right thing.
Exactly. They are natural allies.
I’d rather it were Cruz/Trump ... but I’d take Trump/Cruz if that’s the way it shakes out.
I’m all in for Cruz, but do you really think Trump is going to be anybody’s VP? No possible way does Trump agree to being the number two guy.
Ted is a good guy, a very good guy, a classy guy.
GOPe
Not going to happen. Trump is the alpha male, Cruz can watch how it’s done for 8 years. He might be ready then.
Good—but too bad Cruz voted for the Corker bill that effectively guaranteed passage of whatever Obama wanted.
