For the first time this year, Donald Trump tops a state poll of GOP presidential candidates in Florida.
A St. Pete Polls survey released on Wednesday shows the New York businessman with 26 percent support, with Jeb Bush in second place with 20 percent.
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is in third place with 12 percent, and Marco Rubio is in fourth place with 10 percent. Hes followed by Dr. Ben Carson at 5 percent, Ted Cruz and John Kasich at 4 percent, and Rand Paul at 3 percent. 16 percent are unsure or are supporting another candidate not named in the survey.

If Trump gets the nomination, the Dems would be smart to go with Bernie to take immigration off the table.
Woohoo! I would LOVE for Florida to give Jeb! his walking papers :D
Or as Yeb would say, Toastada!
Makes sense. Go Trump!
Plus, Bush does not look like he wants it. He looks like a bored blue blood who needs something to do when not sipping martinis at the polo club.
It looks reasonably solid, with a large sample size and detailed disclosure. The geographical distribution is off, with the Tampa area oversampled and Miami-Dade undersampled, but that should not be a problem if a correct weighting formula was used.
And that recent CoC Mason-Dixon poll was complete BS.
Thx for checking it out and reporting back.;-)
Thanks. Good. I was wondering why Jeb is seeking out Dems to support him.
Yup, we can short circuit that Bush campaign pretty quickly. The only thing he has going for him is the “inevitability” thing, if he can’t win Florida, his campaign will disintegrate rapidly. Then we can have a real primary between Trump, Walker, and Cruz.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure this out.
The GOP-e all but lied to our faces, when we voted for them in an overwhelming tsunami in 2014. They went back to DC and promptly did everything the Reid/Pelosi Congress was doing before them.
They gave, are continuing to Give Obama Power.
There’s a revolt against the political establishment going on, and Trump is leading it. DC would have to completely reverse course to stop it. Now what are the odds of that happening?
I just posted it on DT’s FaceBook page!
And, of course, Trump is a baby-boomer. Your post is excellent; I hadn’t thought of the baby boomers having one last shot at a great America.
OMG!
I just read that linked article!!!
I don't listen to much talk radio, but I am curious. Would you consider Rush to be pro-Trump?
Whether this is real or not, it makes my day!
I’m amazed that Kasich has even 4% name recognition.
I know 90+yo women, Tea Party Stalwarts that are Loving Trump and have abandoned the ONLY true Conservative, in this RNC engineered debacle-CRUZ.
Trumps charisma brings them back to William Jennings Bryan, or something, a 1900 reality show in many ways.
