Pamela Geller endorses Ted Cruz for president
Lone Star Conservative ^ | Monday, May 11, 2015 at 12:30 PM | Josh Painter

Pamela Geller endorsed Ted Cruz for President Sunday, but hardly anyone noticed. The activist and outspoken critic of Islamic extremists made the endorsement in a Sunday blog post titled "Ted Cruz on Jihad in Texas: ‘Thankfully one police officer helped them meet their virgins.’” Though that headline doesn't offer a clue about her decision to back the Senator from Texas in the 2016 election, she didn't bury the political lede. Here are her first two paragraphs: I endorse Cruz for 2016. The media is going to try to use this against him. But they have been thoroughly discredited in the past week. They are aligned with our enemies. Get behind Cruz. I know its early — but the truth is, it’s late in the fight. I have been considering this for some time and will write a more comprehensive post when time permits, but Cruz is the best candidate in the field. Bar none.

The remainder of her post is focused on the ISIS-inspired attack last week by two terrorists on the "Draw Muhammad" contest Geller and Jihad Watch director Robert Spencer organized in Garland, Texas and Sen. Cruz's strong reaction to it. But Geller is likely correct in her assessment of how the media will treat her endorsement of Ted Cruz. She has been roundly criticized by news outlets as a provocateur. Instead of reporting the ominous development that ISIS has exported its brutal brand of violence to America, many reporters and commentators have instead pursued a "she asked for it" angle, either implied or explicit.

Liberal Fox News analyst Juan Williams spoke for much of what Rush Limbaugh calls the "drive-by" media when he likened Geller to a "pyromaniac" in an appearance on his network’s "Hannity" program. But that was nothing compared to what another one of Fox News' resident liberals said about her. Vile leftist Geraldo Rivera smeared Geller on "Fox & Friends" Friday, as he spat out that the free speech activist reminded him of "the Aryan Nation, skinheads, KKK, racists." Much of the rest of the media's reaction has been similarly negative. A notable -- and rather surprising -- exception is left-leaning Newsweek, which took the trouble to actually let Geller speak for herself in this interview and gave her equal bandwidth in a related backgrounder.

Geller will remain controversial because the leftist media says she is. And don't expect many beyond her blog's readership to notice that she's backing Senator Ted Cruz of Texas for president in 2016. But it comes as no surprise to the Lone Star Conservative that "the woman ISIS wants dead" has endorsed Ted Cruz in his run for the White House. People who have no fear are invariably drawn to one another. The left, which aligns itself more with radical Islam than with freedom-loving Americans, will never acknowledge Pamela's courage. It will instead insist that it is recklessness. But even most who strongly disagree with Pamela Geller and Ted Cruz know deep down inside that both have the hearts of warriors. Where these two are concerned, "courageous conservatives" is more than just campaign rhetoric.

No....

I realize MSNBC is a POS site...but it’s been reported on several sites besides them.

MSNBC reported last month that Cruz’s office had indicated that “he remains open to a path to legal status for undocumented workers, putting him at odds with conservatives who deride such a position as unacceptable ‘amnesty.’”

Screw legal status! Screw Pathways! Screw Amnesty!

If Cruz is pushing this political ploy then folks need to know about it.

Come on really?
You and I agree on about 95% of things during these discussions on FR.
I’m sick of RINO’s selling out conservatives down the river. Aren’t you? Cruz passes the smell test with flying colors, but if he’s going to pull this crap, then all we’ll get is another “W”.

Isn’t that what we want to avoid again?

You’d be more at home there than I. I’m calling Cruz out, while you sheep will just follow him blind.

So, who do you follow?

As a Cruz guy, I agree with you. But, Walker folks need to realize the same thing. He has said the same too.

But, what NO Conservative will mention is HOW you propose to deport everyone here illegally and how you will know who they are.

Since RWC wouldn’t respond about who he follows, it appears you are probably correct in the assessment that he follows some sick and vile entity - with his recent date of arrival, he’s probably another troll - they never answer the real questions.

A wonderful, brave, courageous, patriotic, beautiful, freedom-loving woman. Now another one for the Trump cultists to add to their list of conservative apostates.

When Donald Trump Accused Pamela Geller of ‘Taunting’ Muslims

The GOP frontrunner has become synonymous with Islamophobia, but mere months ago he criticized a prominent anti-Islam activist for antagonizing Muslims.
