DUmmie FUnnies Movie Review: "The Interview" Is HILARIOUS!!!!!
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | December 28, 2014 | PJ-Comix

Your humble correspondent just saw "The Interview" and I have to tell you that the critics are WRONG! It is absolutely HILARIOUS!!! Hardly a minute goes by in this movie when I am not laughing. And a lot of that laughter was uncontrollable bellylaughs!

But...but what about the near unanimous "opinion" of the critics that the movie stinks? Well, the reason so many of them said they hated the movie is that they are afraid to admit the TRUTH that they also laughed like hell while watching it. So why would they not want to publicly admit it? Because it is so politically incorrect that they don't want to admit they enjoyed it. And I don't mean the part about assassinating Kim Jong-Un of iNorth Korea. That was a lot more that was definitely NOT PC about this movie. So un-PC that feminists would probably demand the ouster of any critic who admitted to liking the movie. So is it lewd and crude as has been charged? Absolutely. I wouldn't recommend kids, the easily offended, or the blue-nose pearl clutchers to watch this flick. However, for most of the rest of us it is highly entertaining.

I remember the critics also hated "The Cable Guy" and when I saw it I laughed like hell. One of my favorite comedies ever.

"OHHHH BILLLLLIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"

My two sons, both military, chortled all the way through it. They said it was rather improbable, well, actually stupid, but they howled.

Maybe the critics were expecting some sort of documentary but for flat out comedy it worked hilariously. I would be embarrassed to watch it sitting next to my mother but she was 40 miles north of me while I laughed my way through the movie.

Yep. Go back and read the reviews of classic movies that are still shown regularly on TV after decades, and you usually will see them panned by critics of the day. Meanwhile movies they gushed over are long forgotten.

Agree with you on the movie. It is hilarious. I almost stroked out laughing when Mizz Park talked about Miley Cyrus’ camel toe and how creative Americans were in using sexual language.

The softball questions Dave Skylark started out asking Kim Jong-Un reminded me of the way how our own reporters question Obama and they don’t even get cute puppies as gifts. In fact, Obama can treat them like dirt and they still act like lackies. Oh, and at least Dave ended up changing his tune. I like how the movie played that since there was some tension as to whether Skylark would remain a lackey.

LOL! Common ground? My kid kept saying let’s watch this over the weekend but I was like not for 6 bucks. ( yeah I can be that cheap. )

Glad someone over at D U has a sense of humor. And I look forward to seeing this in the normal course of things.

Thanks for posting.

There’s tons of things in the movie to be offended by if you want to be. If you don’t care, there’s plenty of laughs.

Well while it wasn`t a laugh riot, it was mildly funny at times, in a potty humor sort of way.
