I don’t remember biting off fingers in The Lord of the Rings
I watched this online. Glad I did. It would hurt my feelings to pay money for this thing.. My observations : Take the F word or derivations out and you could shorten the movie by 30 minutes easily. If you like stupid you will like this movie. Gratuitous homo references with large cylindrical objects rammed up an anus, check. It did make a homicidal maniac who starves little children look all warm and cuddly.. hurrah. All in all a nice cuddly PROGRESSIVE tale.
You don’t remember towards the end when the Gollum bit off Frodo’s finger?
User warning: comments to this thread are comprised entirely of posters who would find it “not guilty”, but nevertheless “would hit it.”
But you can bet they hated Team America.
No thanks.
Laz has not commented... yet.
The movie that I refer to as the greatest movie of all time was a flop at the box office. Well, not a flop, but it wasn’t a blockbuster. It went on to be a pop culture icon.
Yes... Urban Cowboy is a close winner over second place, Smokey and the Bandit.
A Christmas Story was also a box office disappointment.
It was seriously funny. The fingers-being-bitten-off scene had me laughing hard. How absurd. :)
I saw it Friday night and thought that it was just OK compared to Pineapple Express and This is the End, watched it again last night and liked it a lot more the second time.
This is one movie that Kim DOES NOT want his people to see, like they would even have a chance anyways of course.
I’m sorry, PJ, but “The Cable Guy” was just creepy.
Just so you know, I have nothing against other “cable guys” throughout the years. ;-)
Then you don’t remember the Lord of the Rings—specifically, in Return of the King, the climactic scene, where Frodo is supposed to (finally) throw the ring into the lava and destroy it.
Gollum has other ideas.
