In a new campaign to reportedly raise awareness of "privilege," the University of San Francisco is handing out fliers telling anyone who is white, straight, Christian, or "able-bodied" that they are privileged and need to "check their privilege." The campaign was put together by three professors at the college and Student Life.
The fliers also claim that if you believe that your gender identity and biological gender are the same (that is, if you consider yourself a male and you are biologically male), you are privileged as well.
No matter who you are, no matter what your situation in life, if you have just one of these attributes, you are privileged and need to "check" yourself. So if you are a poor, orphaned Caucasian man who is homeless, you are privileged because of your race. If you are an African American baptist who has struggled through poverty to go to college, you are privileged because you are a Christian and need to realize you actually have it pretty easy.

Professor’s Walker, Poole, and Murray....ya gotta give ‘em credit for at least being in the right place. San Francisco is like a magnet for kooks. These guys will do well where they are.

That one about being comfortable walking down the street holding hands with your partner being a privilege. I could almost believe some of the students were sheltered enough not to know better about what San Francisco is like off-campus. But the faculty and staff? Seriously?
UCSF and University of San Francisco are completely different schools.
UCSF is still a great place to go for health sciences.

Certainly no White Christian heterosexual father would be stupid enough to pay to send a child to this hate-filled institution. It is poisonous to normal people to be subjected to such persecution.
As a white, male, heterosexual, married, native-born American Christian all I can say is, I guess it sucks to be them.
The correct term is “heteropatriarchal capitalism”.

I’d like the privilege of not having ass hats make prejudiced judgements about my supposed privilege. Who the hell put them in charge. Who the hell gave them the privilege to judge others!
