In a new campaign to reportedly raise awareness of "privilege," the University of San Francisco is handing out fliers telling anyone who is white, straight, Christian, or "able-bodied" that they are privileged and need to "check their privilege." The campaign was put together by three professors at the college and Student Life.
The fliers also claim that if you believe that your gender identity and biological gender are the same (that is, if you consider yourself a male and you are biologically male), you are privileged as well.
No matter who you are, no matter what your situation in life, if you have just one of these attributes, you are privileged and need to "check" yourself. So if you are a poor, orphaned Caucasian man who is homeless, you are privileged because of your race. If you are an African American baptist who has struggled through poverty to go to college, you are privileged because you are a Christian and need to realize you actually have it pretty easy.

This is an easy shot to take, since there’s probably not much of a population that’s going to be really offended by it, and the vast majority of the population is going to agree. Remember that there’s a reason why PETA and other animal rights activist groups target little old ladies wearing fur coats, and not leather-clad biker dudes. Same principle applied here.
What these white liberals mean by the terms “White privilege” is that it must really suck to be black! That comes across as very racist to me.

I’m a live and let live “type” of person, but I’ve had enough of these degenerates. The time of absolute and unbridled violence is approaching and these idiots will not understand why they are primary targets. It won’t be difficult to understand why they will be slaughtered en mass. but those who have have been raised under psychotic beliefs that have been reinforced by extremist educational institutes will learn hard facts of life, albeit directly prior to the end of their “disturbed” lives, IMO.

University of Minnesota was pulling the same crap two years ago with TV ads about success being the result of “white skin privilege”. Needless to say I no longer recognize any degree from Minnestoopid.
It’s just a shame that people would actually send their children to be indoctrinated at a place like this. Nothing of any moral quality would come out of it.

Is this the UC at San Francisco, or the private, Jesuit USF? Either way, it’s a terrible message to be sending, but I’d find it extra troubling if a religious school started talking about faith as privilege.
I’m also scratching my head at the distinction between “Cisgender” and heterosexual on one of the fliers. I don’t see the distinction between being straight and feeling like a guy because I was born a guy (or whatever pablum they’re peddling here).

Whoops, never mind. I saw the link for usfca on one of the fliers. It’s the UC campus, not the Jesuit school.
