Conservatives Republicans and liberal Democrats have dug in their heels on immigration and Glenn Beck has picked his side. But he doesnt think its the winning one.
I have to tell you, Im gravely concerned because I dont think were going to win this immigration battle, Beck said on his radio show Monday. I really dont. I think its going to go the way it always does. Because theyre (liberals) going to win the PR battle. And the president is going to change the subject and hes going to make it about impeachment.
Some high-profile Republicans, like former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, have called for the impeachment of President Barack Obama. On Fox News Sunday, House Majority Whip Steve Scalise would not deny that it is an option.
Beck said no serious Republicans have called for impeachment.

Does anyone really still care what this effeminate closet leftist plant has to say?
Great post but Glenn doesn’t need a sheet, he can use his own “holy underwear!”
well, gee, thanks for the cheerleading, Glenn. Go back to your conspiracy theories. They were more interesting.
Illegally legalizing illegal immigrants— is the central problem by the “dick” tater. We have existing immigration laws that are not being inforced— it is an issue of Constitutional importance, and scared chickens of Congress (or maybe better, bought dogs).
A confused person of weak emotional control. How one can go from being a “catholic” to a “mormon” is a study all in itself. But he wears annoyingly “hip” glasses on stage.
Dude is seriously confused. It must be the belief in Kolob.
That and maybe hitting the sauce again.
Like watching a modern day aimee semple mcpherson— with the same potential for hucksterism. From New Canaan to Texas— oh yeah, THAT works— argyle socks and a ten gallon hat (with “cattle” lol).
There is what is on TV, and then there is the reality on the ground. TV rarely gets that story until it can get footage that shows the “terrible” violence that results from ignoring the reality on the ground. The leadership vacuum in the country is showing itself on immigration.
The first state that sends the “placements” back to mexico, by bus or better by plane— they will draw the line in the sand. We cannot have open borders, with 92 million not working.
The goal is the TV network— he wants to be a network. And a network derives from the lowest common denominator. A manipulative schizoid whacko is what you have here. Makes very little consistent sense. And it started with booze, and going with whomever was there to pull him out of the muck. It happened to be mormons— could have been anyone, or any cult.
One gets a sense of that when he talks on the air about “talking with some very powerful people”... like we aren’t in his “club”. A sad sad case of dependency and boo hoo. Has no idea who is really running things except in his studio world.
Snake oil salesman....the chalkboard is a clue. Some use a white board, but Glenn is an old school film flam man.
Some deep thinkers around here....
If we can’t win on the issue of sovereignty then there is no longer a country worth saving.
I predict Beck won’t recover from this one.
The short editorial doesn't match the title, it goes on on how conservatives won't win on impeachment.
Just like the shutdown we don't need a crystal Ball to see how impeachment ends, we have 1998.
Clinton stayed in office, Newt got booted out of his House Speaker seat and left congress...(then appeared again in 2011 as if it was a great success)
RE: Deliver a truck of soccer balls. and no I am not kidding.
Well, if that’s all he wants, then send them home and let them bring the soccer balls with them.
What’s so hard about that?
Have another drink Glenn. Former alcoholics suck.
Rand Paul's immigration speech...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.[Posted on 03/19/2013 7:04:07 AM PDT by Perdogg]
Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...
This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.
Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reformLatinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...[Posted on 04/21/2013 1:52:42 PM PDT by SoConPubbie]
[but he's not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
