Canik TP9: Making Glock Scared...for $319 [FULL REVIEW] (video only)
The Nutnfancy Project ^ | 5-27-2014 | nutnfancy

This gun should scare Glock. For that matter Walther, Springfield, S&W, and all the rest too. In this original review you will see why.
Produced with ISO 9000 quality standards, the Canik TP9 gets right just about everything I care about. Reviewed are its toughness, reliability, accuracy, ergos, weight, firepower, and more. What results is a GTW handgun for just $319. Testing proved it is on par with all HOF GTW options in TNP. It represents screaming value, almost unheard of these days.
Get it now before the price goes up and it probably will from this video. Enjoy. - Nutnfancy

I might give it a try. There are a few people who already think I’m a bit weird for having owned several taurus products(and all very successfully I might add.)

I am always leery of new firearms manufactures to many have come and gone. Leaving the people who brought their products holding the bag.

In terms of no support parts when they have went out of business.

I might consider one in a few years if good tings are found out.

But right now no thank you.

Can you buy magazines? Can you buy spare parts? Can you buy holsters?

With Glock the answers will always be “yes.”

I think this is a hammer fired CZ clone. Glock is popular because its always ready striker fired. Even Sig has just released their modular P320.

Like Hickok45 I prefer no safeties, decockers getting in the way when TSHTF.

I owned a o/u 12ga. from Turkey for a very short time. Did one sporting clay set (100 rounds)it would only cock half the time and miss fire. Sold it and went and got a Browning 425 a real o/u. Always buy the best weapon you can get and save time and money.

Won’t knock it at all.

Thing is...for not a lot more (considering you buy one and it lasts forever), I can have a Glock which is in no way inferior, and has endless options & accessories available as needed.

I want one of the new Springfield XDS .45 pocket rockets.
Finding one has been a problem. Any recalls you know of?
Glocks are reliable but the new Gl30s is a little big for pocket carry and I’ve heard most Springfield owners say theirs always goes bang. Well, huh Andy? Huh? Andy? Huh?

(Btw, not to hi-jack, EAA imports some quality Turkish hardware but their 14 round SAR .45 is a real boat anchor, bigger than CZ’s 97B.)

For the record that means-
“Testing proved it is on par with all ‘Hall Of Fame’ ‘Go To War’ options in The Nutnfancy Project.”
He has a lot of repeat viewers on his channel.

30s right?
But I want to hold it first. I understand it’s very similar in dimensions, even a little smaller, though a little wider in the grip (w/ a 36 slide) compared to my Glock 19.
I can’t find one to fondle ... same with the little Springfield.
There’s a shop near Ft. Wayne I”m going to try. Thanks!
I’ll wear my Georgia Giant boots for luck.

Mr. GG2 said he saw a few at Pro Bass but he thinks they are gone now. He played with the 9mm XDS there and was impressed. They sell out fast though.

It’s not steel. It’s not hammer-fired. It looks like a Walther. It’s not sa/da. It has that light rail.

Lastly, I still get a nice S&W Model 10 for the money, with no dependency on a certain ammunition load nor bullet ogive, six that do fire, without a possible tap-rack-bang.

It’s good that Turkey is manufacturing firearms. But with these fools in this country, you must remember ,,, it is an import.

Turkey has always been about THE most advanced Islamic country—as the former center of the Ottoman Empire. I doubt Samsun Yurt Savunma is a new company at all.

I just looked it up. SYS is an aircraft/defense manufacturer with German connections. Been around since the ‘90s.

At 320 for a Glock-like gun, sounds like a terrific deal.
