What do you guys think? It's from Turkey.

"Samsun Yurt Savunma Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (SYS) included into "East Black Sea Weapon Project" in 1998 as Samsun City branch of the Project and today in designing and producing Defense Systems in Turkey, SYS is one of the biggest Defense Companies.

SYS formed its R&D Department before production lines and at first designed and started the production of its "Canik55" branded semi-automatic weapons. "Canik55" branded products that are produced by SYS are in service in 4 continents and in service of the Forces of ally Countries. And SYS is exporting %70 of its production to these all Countries.

Today SYS is doing its production in Samsun ındustrial Area in 6.000 m2 with its highest technology machineries and equipments. SYS included in other defense projects in the year 2005 by starting the production of components of MKE's automatic rifles, grenade launchers and sniper rifles and now its one of the best partners of ASELSAN, TAI and ROKETSAN in their defense projects.

SYS is doing production for MTU GmbH in OFFSET bases, for Airbus, KAI, Bombardier, Locheed Martin by the interagency of TAI and in every project that included in, SYS always target to have part in the independency of Turkish Defense Industry. And now its included in most of the Projects that represents the indepedency of Turkish Defense Industry like ATAK Helicopter, HURKUS Trainer Plain, Cirit and UMTAS Missile Projects.

SYS that produce under the requirements of Facility Security, AQAP 2120 and ISO 9000 Certificates, will keep taking part in the World's and Turkey's big defense projects and as SYS, it will keep fulfilling its obligations in best way to reach its goals."

I might give it a try. There are a few people who already think I’m a bit weird for having owned several taurus products(and all very successfully I might add.)

Testing proved it is on par with all HOF GTW options in TNP.

Won’t knock it at all.

Thing is...for not a lot more (considering you buy one and it lasts forever), I can have a Glock which is in no way inferior, and has endless options & accessories available as needed.

I have an Springfield Armory XD40...I haven't shot it in 2 years because of bullet conservation...hasn't missed a beat...

It’s not steel. It’s not hammer-fired. It looks like a Walther. It’s not sa/da. It has that light rail.

Lastly, I still get a nice S&W Model 10 for the money, with no dependency on a certain ammunition load nor bullet ogive, six that do fire, without a possible tap-rack-bang.

It’s good that Turkey is manufacturing firearms. But with these fools in this country, you must remember ,,, it is an import.
