Parenthetical clauses are used throughout scripture to explain how, why, when and where in close proximity to the main subject and verb.
Parentheses in the book of The Revelation explain cause and effect. They tie together the events that happen previously, to the events that transpire subsequently on the prophetic timeline. Unfortunately, parentheses, as a literary devise, come centuries after the actual parenthetical clauses so prevalent in both Hebrew and Greek linguistic constructions. Because of their late arrival into the English language, the parentheticals in the book of The Revelation have never been either deservedly researched or accurately articulated. Now, after more than 40 years in the making, The Chronological Gospels is complete with all of the extensive parenthetical clauses accurately assigned throughout the book of The Revelation.
Now, with its impending fulfillment looming large on the horizon, The Revelation can finally be understood with clarity and lived with integrity. This one feature (the parenthetical clauses in The Revelation) in The Chronological Gospels is worth one thousand times the price of the book itself.
Join Michael Rood for the first of the last four teachings on the very last book of the Bible, Parenthetically Speaking (Before We Are Saved From the Wrath To Come).
Actually I think Paul made it rather clear why they cant see.
2 Corinthians 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
>>The word believe is a powerful thing CynicalBear.....as its one thing to investigate or research other religions and or opinions of those involved in them....than it is to actually believe those teachings.<<
Thats why I would strongly recommend that people stay away from reading or listening to the demonic stuff Rood puts out. Satan always mixes enough truth to entice and confuse.
Rood and his followers are not of God.
It really is too bad that some have fallen for this guys junk...but then we know the enemy of men's souls loves to masquerade as something he's not.
Also sad that Rood has more than irritated the true Messianic Jews, who have taken Jesus as their Savior. He's done great harm to them and they constantly have to speak out against the junk he spews.
I dont look down on you Errant. I pity you. You have not been covered by the righteousness of Christ. Like Paul said, when the law of Moses is read a veil comes over your heart. Those who follow Rood are hypocrites plain and simple. Preaching the law of Moses but not following all of them themselves.
.....”Thats why I would strongly recommend that people stay away from reading or listening to the demonic stuff Rood puts out. Satan always mixes enough truth to entice and confuse......Rood and his followers are not of God.”....
I listened to some Pastors speaking about just this....men who investigate false religions, cults and the like. They warn that even investigating these they have to maintain a very close relationship with Jesus because the “attraction” and “deception” is so great.
I recall a time when I had to help an individual involved in the UFO Spirituality New Age junk. Another individual and I spent an entire night searching out what they believe, how they recruit etc. and by the time we had completed this we both recognized not only how exhausting it was....but that for a time after you tend to remove yourself from scriptures they reference....even though you know the correct application...you have to sort of decompress from all the falsehood.
People still today fail to recognize the tactics of satan and his demonic hoard. ..and that it’s a ‘power’ you do not want to tangle with...even on the edges. I know more than one who has done so, Christians , and they fell over that cliff.
So you are right to say people need to stay clear of these groups....they are dangerous and Jesus warned time and again about “leaving the faith” to something else.
>> “What part of is freed from all things do you not understand?” <<
.
What part of BELIEF do you not understand?
Belief has to be full and unconditional, not intellectual belief like you have.
You reject ALL of his words, so you have no saving level of belief whatsoever.
.
Actually I think Paul made it rather clear why they cant see....2 Corinthians 3:15....
” But even unto this day, ‘when Moses is read’, the veil is upon their heart”...
That’s exactly right!
You are totally mistaken on this.
The people are subject to the Ten commandments, and the dietary instructions apply technally when we are to enter the temple, which presently does not exist.
Some other commandments apply to special circumstances, most of which are encountered only once in a lifetime.
Over all very few apply to every day life.
Now give us another lie, OK?
.
>> “Jesus was the name bestowed upon the Son at his conception when the angel spoke to Mary.” <<
.
No it certainly was not. Yeshua was the name Gabriel instructed them to name him.
You can continue to use the false name all you wish, since you are not likely his.
The moniker “Jesus” didn’t even exist when he was born. It came later coming from an English transliteration of a Greek transliteration of an acronym that the Pharisees called him to curse him.
All of the copies of Matthew in the original Hebrew have Yeshua, because he would yoshia his people.
.
It’s quite revealing reading the verses from Satan’s gnostic Bible that you post.
It becomes obvious that it is the Satanic NIV that is responsible for so much of the confusion that pervades our threads.
.
>> “Come back when you can tell us you follow all 613 laws without error.” <<
.
Come back when you’re ready to quit lying about Torah!
.
Oh yeah, everybody is going to believe that one. All Jews only forgo pork if they are in Temple. And Kosher is only for when in Temple. We are not as easily duped as those who follow Rood.
Followers of Rood are hypocrites.
First, given the VAST amount of teaching he has done (well over 30 years), do you honestly think anyone would be able to condense it down to a couple of ten line paragraphs just so you could understand it all? I don't think so.
Second, you and the "others" were the ones complaining there wasn't enough "specifics". Well there is PLENTY of "specifics" if you bothered to look. The real problem for you is that everything Michael Rood teaches can be verified in scripture - E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! That's YOUR problem, not mine...
Why should I invest in HOURS of listening to him droning on or having to buy his DVDs in order to know what he professes?
Do you REALLY need me to list the FREE teachings again??? You invest HOURS here bearing false witness, not knowing the man's teachings - by your own account. Why don't you invest one or two hours actually reading what the man has to say, instead of condemning him without knowing what he has said?
Straight from your tongue to Satan's ears CB. You're making your father proud with your lies...
Yes it does. Thats why I believe what the Holy Spirit said through Paul.
Acts 13:39 and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.
Notice that could not be freed through the law of Moses. Interesting that you told us that it was the law that freed.
>> “Why not introduce them to Jesus Christ Errant? Rather than to a list of videos from a mans teachings?” <<
.
He teaches 100% from fully contextual scripture.
.
>> “Why not give them the Gospel Message?” <<
.
I posted the gospel message directly from James epistle and you went Satanic on me.
.
>> “Why not encourage them to read Gods Word where they can find the answers with Him?” <<
.
Good idea! - That is exactly what Rood’s videos do. the content is all scripture, all in context, all of the time.
.
>> “Why not encourage them to Follow Jesus Christ as HE asked that we do?” <<
.
LOL! - That is exactly what you hate about Rood, teaching exactly as Yeshua said it, and as Paul, James, John, and Peter said it. Fully in context, no clips, no partial chapters, no Dispy fudging.
Scripture is so “shyster” to you, huh!
Go with your Father Satan!
Your problem is you cannot accept Yeshua’s plain pure words.
You do not believe in him.
The only thing I was mocking is the idea that the church apart from Catholicism is somehow “unified”. You’re absolutely RIGHT, the points you are debating here ARE important. But if I’m to believe the critics of the Church, these points are NOT important, because all non Catholic Christians everywhere have “unity” because they don’t disagree on anything important.
Well, thank you for at least proving that point wrong. Thank you for proving the (Catholic) assertion that there is NO unity in the “invisible church” because there IS disagreement on important points like the Law of Moses, the very name of Jesus, and even his very nature (the Trinity) in this same so-called “unified, invisible church”.
Now if you could just get your co-critics to see and agree with that we might actually make progress. Instead of perpetuating the lie that non-Catholic Chrisitians don’t disagree about anything of importance!
Show me ONE thing in the Hebrew Roots movement that teaches ANYTHING opposing Yeshua's teachings!
You CAN'T! You know that, we know that, and everyone else who has read what you've written in these here threads knows that!
The Hebrew Roots movement isn't about Michael Rood, it's about discovering the unleavened truth the Almighty's plan for mankind - exactly what we were encouraged to do.
The truth transcends ALL of man's false religious doctrines which are based in large part on tradition instead of the scriptures. The Almighty went to great lengths to ensure his message would remain true. The Hebrew Roots movement is all about rediscovering that truth, which has been hidden from God's people for centuries.
Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS (Iésous): for he shall save his people from their sins.
Iésous - Definition: Jesus; the Greek form of Joshua Hebrew = Yehoshua
Your haughtiness is rather telling. God changes languages at the tower of Babel. We dont speak Hebrew here in the United States. So take your pompous attitude to someone else. We are not impressed.
For the record: No, I do not stand on the side of the Judaizers (and it's refreshing to see someone use that term, because such people are indeed modern day Judaizers). And neither does the Church stand on the side of Judaizers.
I have been very careful in my use of the term the "Law of Moses ". That law was never ever for anyone BUT the Jews, and anyone who says differently, anyone who says we are to follow the so-called "613 laws" is indeed a modern day Judaizer. So I think on that, you and I agree.
