Parenthetically Speaking (Before We Are Saved From the Wrath To Come)
A Rood Awakening Tv ^ | 7 February 2014 | Michael Rood

Posted on 02/09/2014 9:26:46 AM PST by Errant

Parenthetical clauses are used throughout scripture to explain how, why, when and where in close proximity to the main subject and verb.

Parentheses in the book of The Revelation explain cause and effect. They tie together the events that happen previously, to the events that transpire subsequently on the prophetic timeline. Unfortunately, parentheses, as a literary devise, come centuries after the actual parenthetical clauses so prevalent in both Hebrew and Greek linguistic constructions. Because of their late arrival into the English language, the parentheticals in the book of The Revelation have never been either deservedly researched or accurately articulated. Now, after more than 40 years in the making, The Chronological Gospels is complete with all of the extensive parenthetical clauses accurately assigned throughout the book of The Revelation.

Now, with its impending fulfillment looming large on the horizon, The Revelation can finally be understood with clarity and lived with integrity. This one feature (the parenthetical clauses in The Revelation) in The Chronological Gospels is worth one thousand times the price of the book itself.

Join Michael Rood for the first of the last four teachings on the very last book of the Bible, “Parenthetically Speaking (Before We Are Saved From the Wrath To Come)”.

Out of Covenant is truly lost!

That is exactly where he sent his apostles to teach.

You don’t need to know! - The lost sheep of the House of Israel knew what the Pharisees were trying to foist off on them quite well, and that is what the apostles were sent to defeat.

.

Propagating CB’s lie for him? - Look out!

Only the Levite Priests were ever under most of those. - If you were to study his Torah you would understand that well, and not look so devious and foolish.

.
No, that is exactly what you are doing!

I will not call him “Jesus” because that is not his name, and never was he called that when he walked the Earth.

You should research the roots of that false and condemning name, and when you do you will feel quite foolish.

The gospel of Yeshua HaMassiach is what saves, and that is what I will work to get to his lost sheep of the world.

And yes you are ashamed of it, or you wouldn't be doing your Father Satan's work so diligently here.

Get a real Bible that wasn’t based on a codex (alef) that had been kept hidden specifically because the early churchmen knew it was corrupted by the gnostics.

We've been through this already!

Matthew 15:

[1] Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
[2] Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
[3] But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
[4] For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
[5] But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
[6] And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
[7] Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
[8] This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
[9] But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
[10] And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
[11] Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
[12] Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
[13] But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
[14] Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
[15] Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.
[16] And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
[17] Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
[18] But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
[19] For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
[20] These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Matthew 23:

[1] Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
[2] Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
[3] All therefore whatsoever he bids you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

[4] For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
[5] But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
[6] And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
[7] And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
[8] But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
[9] And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
[10] Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
[11] But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
[12] And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
[13] But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
[14] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
[15] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
[16] Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
[17] Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
[18] And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
[19] Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
[20] Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
[21] And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
[22] And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
[23] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
[24] Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
[25] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
[26] Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
[27] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
[28] Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
[29] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
[30] And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
[31] Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
[32] Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
[33] Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
[34] Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
[35] That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
[36] Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
[37] O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
[38] Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
[39] For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Yes, Completely! .

What makes a church authentic is that they were founded by Christ.

I think you will find that it was ALL founded by Yeshua. The OT 'congregation' and the NT 'assembly' or 'church' are one and the same thing. All of the things of Christianity - the offices, rites, and rituals - have a direct counterpart in Judaism (albeit that they differ greatly, which I attribute to Roman syncretism)... Every bit of it comes right out of the Jewish rabbinical and synagogue system.

My point in that is to say that the 'called out ones' from the OT are the same as the 'called out ones' in the NT... And are saved in exactly the same way.

There are 613 laws in Torah. Do you follow all 613? If not and you still preach Torah you belong with the brood of vipers.

You'd best go look again. That 'brood of vipers' was not teaching Torah - they were 'teaching as doctrine the commandments of men'.

BTW Keep that beard trimmed nice ya hear?

Lol! More Pharisee schtick.

[roamer_1:] The prophets say the whole of the earth will keep Torah in the kingdom...

They DO? Could you PLEASE post a LIST of these Scriptures?

I suppose I could, but that would be rather voluminous. Here are some snippets though:

Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
Isa 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

Eze 44:23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
Eze 44:24 And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.

There is really quite a bit more - but Ezekiel's Temple is the main one for me - But then one has to be able to distinguish The House of Israel from the House of Judah, and understand the Sons of Zadok as distinguished from the Levites... Otherwise it will really mean nothing to you... But there is much more if one reads the OT with the Millenial Kingdom in mind. It is a very interesting study...

It’s inspiring to see the unity of the invisible church. Yes, I can see how the Catholic Church is wrong and *this* is right.

Clear doctrinal unity here, clear unity on all the important points, just like I’ve been assured.

It’s odd though this went to 800+ replies. They all don’t *seem* to be agreeing with each other on important points, but I guess I’m missing something.

I guess these aren’t important points. Nothing like an irrelevant point to get the discussion going to 800+ replies!

I’m ready to stop being a Catholic. Where do I sign up for this? The unified church in *this* thread? All I need is a name and a physical location and I’m there baby.

Isn’t this an example of unity? It must be, it’s not Catholic.

And then you said none of those of Judah followed the Torah, but were the Pharisees who were out of covenant...So that makes Judah the lost sheep of the house of Israel as well...Right???

Otherwise, how can you explain Jesus not going to look for the lost sheep of the house of Israel???

You are...

What you are seeing is 2 different positions...2 Different doctrines...Not any where near the 180,000 different believing religions you guys falsely claim we have...

Catholic religion has no differences, eh??? Neither do the Mormons...Neither do the Catholic brothers, the izlamaniacs, or the Buddhists, and on and on...

So what does God have to say about it???

1Co 11:18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
1Co 11:19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

1Co 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

So it was known that there were be divisions amongst us...And there's a benefit to that...The benefit is that the truth shall be made manifest as the truth is proven out...

So how are Christians told to find the truth to eliminate these doctrinal divisions???

Should we go to a statue, rattle some beads and pray for the truth???
How about listening to a murdering, raping so called prophet who married a six year old girl???
Or how about a guy who sits on a throne wearing a dress with red shoes and a cowboy hat???

Nope...God says to:

Joh_5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

And as you can see, unlike anyone in your religion, that's exactly what we are doing...

Of course, there is no disagreement ever in the Catholic church.

Now, which one would that be? The EO who claim THEY are the original church and Rome is in schism?

Or the Roman rite who claims THEY are the original church and the EO are separated?

What about the sedevacantists? Or the SSPX?

Does that mean that Vatican 2 wasn’t controversial?

Funny, that’s not what I recall when the the mass went from Latin to English and the altar was turned around. My land, you’d have thought the world was coming to an end.

More of you abject lack of comprehension of scriptural issues.

The sheep were “lost” because they were out of covenant, not lost geographically. Yeshua’s mission was in Judea, as I've already explained, so that he could present the truth that you have made a lifetime career of denying, that the Pharisees had nullified the Torah with their false laws, and then with that body of communication to future generations established, to die on the cross, which you may or may not realize, had to happen in Judea.

.
>> “And then you said none of those of Judah followed the Torah” <<

.
There you go again falsifying my comments!

I said that the Pharisees didn't honor Torah. Do you not know the difference? (I know you don't) The Zadokim were nominally in covenant, so Judah was not “lost.”

.
>> “Otherwise, how can you explain Jesus not going to look for the lost sheep of the house of Israel?” <<

.
You want Yeshua to “look” for the tribes that he already knew the location of? Are you a complete Biblical imbecile?

He sent his disciples and apostles to his sheep. Have you not read the description of their commission?

Matthew 10:

[1] And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
[2] Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
[3] Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
[4] Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
[5] These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
[6] But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
[7] And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
[8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
[9] Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
[10] Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
[11] And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
[12] And when ye come into an house, salute it.
[13] And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
[14] And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
[15] Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
[16] Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
[17] But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
[18] And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
[19] But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
[20] For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
[21] And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
[22] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
(there's that "enduring to the end thingy again...)
[23] But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Get that last line? - The 'cities' of Israel will be so vast and dispersed that it will be impossible for those carrying Yeshua's word to get to all of them until the end!

.

Ok so since there is disagreement in Catholicism (granting that there is, for a moment, not that I do grant that as we seem to be equating schismatic behavior with disagreement here)well then that makes it “ok” to have disagreement everywhere.

A free for all of doctrinal mish-mash, because Paul wrote about it one time, it’s therefore good all the time. About anything. Even the very name of Jesus and the Law of Moses’ application is perfectly fine to have undecided, up in the air, no resolution thereof at all.

It doesn’t matter whether or not Jesus should be called a certain name.

It doesn’t matter if someone believes the Law of Moses applies today to those grafted in.

Nah, none of those things matter (but we’ll spend 800+ posts discussing things that don’t matter, because they don’t matter)

Doesn’t matter. Nothing matters. Truth, doesn’t matter. Because Paul wrote how there was trouble in Corinth, we shouldn’t even try to have any kind of unity at all. (Except when we’re called on that obvious DIS-unity by those nasty Papists, then we’ll breathlessly insist there IS unity in the “invisible” church, and we’ll quietly ignore threads like this that clearly prove there isn’t).

Rigggght. You stick with that, stick with equating schism with doctrinal difference, stick with rationalizing doctrinal difference “because it happened before”. I’ll stick with a Church that at least *tries* to get things right, rather than just being a relativistic quitter.

.....>>>>>”I will not call him “Jesus” because that is not his name,...... and never was he called that when he walked the Earth”<<<<<<<<

Jesus was the name bestowed upon the Son at his conception when the angel spoke to Mary.

God the Father bestowed on him the name above all names Phil. 2:9, ....we find in v.11 it says....” we will confess ‘Jesus Christ’ is Lord.”

(The Greek word for Lord in the New Testament is ‘kurios’... which is ‘equal to Yahweh in the OT’ Jesus in the Greek language is called Kurios Isous Christos- ‘LORD JESUS CHRIST’.)

Phil 2:10-11....”that at the ‘name of Jesus’ every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that ‘Jesus Christ’ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This is a quote from Isa. 45:23 ....God says,..... “that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath.” It’s perfectly clear who Jesus is...... Rom 14:11-12..... “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.”

It is at his exaltation he is given the title of ‘Lord Jesus Christ’.... Showing Jesus is indeed Yahweh.... In Acts 2:34-36 Peter proclaims this Jesus sits at the right hand of God, And that God (the Father) has made him ‘both lord and Christ’.

Now at his coronation he is given the title of Lord with his name, which shows his nature and his rank above all men and angels. ...In Acts 10:36 ...the apostles present him as “Lord of All”, this new name is based on him being the sovereign, being superior to all. ....It signifies his rulership on Earth and in Heaven. ...This also makes it clear that the Son is God, just as the Father is God.

So what is his name? God has many, each express a certain facet of His nature, his attributes. In the New Testament the angel told Joseph his name will be called Jesus (Y’shua) Mt.1:21 also in vs.25. (meaning God is salvation) But there are other names He is called. Mt.1:23 Also says his name will be called Immanuel (with us is God) a fulfillment of Isa. 7:14. Mt.1:25 says his name will be called Jesus, Luke 1:35 he will be called “the Son of God.” Isa.9:6 “His name will be called wonderful, counselor, mighty God, Father of eternity, prince of peace.”

In Rev.19:13..... “His name is called ‘the word of God’....” Who is this?.. Vs.15 says it is the one who rules the nation’s the same whose name on his robe “Is KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”..... This is the same word of God John writes of in the first chapter of his Gospel that is called GOD.

Acts 2:21:..... “ And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”.... Paul points to Jesus giving the gospel that saves. This is exactly what Paul writes in Rom. 10:9 when he quotes Joel 2 about calling on the name of the Lord. ...To call on Jesus, is equal to calling on God.

What about the name of Jesus being used through the book of Acts?

The disciples were questioned on the miracle they did in Acts 4:7 ...And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, ....”By what power or ‘by what name’ have you done this?” ......The religious leaders were angry at what they were proclaiming, and in Acts 4:18.... And they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach ‘in the name of Jesus’.

Rev 3:8 ....”I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and ‘have not denied My name.”

John writes at the end of his gospel in John 20:31.....” but these are written that you may believe that ‘Jesus is the Christ’, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life ‘in His name’.... He then writes later in his epistle, I Jn. 3:23:.... “And this is His commandment: that we should believe ‘on the name of His Son ‘Jesus Christ’.

I fully believe in the person who is the name that brings salvation,...’ Jesus’..... Salvation is found in no other NAME.

The RCC has it’s fixed doctrinal statements, as do most, if not all other denominations.

The RCC has adherents who do not follow, agree with, or live according to those doctrinal statements, as do most, if not all other denominations.

The RCC is NO different than any other church.

It, and Catholics, are in no position to point any fingers at non-Catholics in that regard as they do not hold the high moral ground here.

.....>>>”Unless of course, it changes the truth of the matter... Which in this case, it does”<<<<<...

We are under the NEW LAW OF CHRIST, NOT the Law of Moses in the Old Testament.

Some of the Old Testament moral laws are ratified in the new covenant and some are not.... ‘He did not polish up the Old Testament laws to shine better’.

The moral laws continue, reaffirmed in the New Testament because ‘they preceded the Law of Moses’ (you shall not murder, no adultery, no lying or stealing).

Man was originally created in the image of His maker and God had incorporated ‘a moral likeness in his nature’, though it is now corrupted.... These moral laws were related to man’s moral nature that was made in God’s image.

Lk. 5:36-38:

“No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old....

.... And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined.

..... But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

The old wineskins were stretched out to their limit and any more fermentation would burst them.... Once the wineskin was used and stretched it could not be stretched more, it was useless and a new wineskin was needed to hold the new wine.

To try to ‘mix ‘the old covenants with the new (gospel) would destroy both...... This is why you are not saved or sanctified by Jesus plus the Law.

The new covenant is not a mixture;... it is not a better version of the Old Covenant. ....It is based on the work of the God/man’s death for mankind’s sin...

The Pharisees that rejected Jesus held on to the law, but even the Pharisees that believed in Jesus found it difficult to transition to grace (Acts 15:5)...... But those who found Christ to be their all in all found life in the new covenant he made; they happily left the old for the new.

>>Jesus came to set us free. Not put us back under the bondage of the Law.<<

He most certainly did. I pity those who don’t understand.

Acts 13:39 and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.

I’ll stick with a Church that at least *tries* to get things right, rather than just being a relativistic quitter.

The Catholic church doesn't even TRY to get it right.

It didn't do anything about it's pederast priests until the negative publicity from people who refused to be cowed by its strong arm tactics forced the issue.

It doesn't even try to deny communion or ex-communicate those who it says should be for their support of abortion and homosexual marriage. On the contrary, it gives the likes of Kennedy and Chavez Catholic funerals.

And here you now have a pope who, by all indications, it beginning the acceptance of homosexuals in the church.

Not to mention the fact that the results of this survey show that the Catholic church has largely failed in leading its flock.

Tried?

Not even close.....
