In raw numerical terms, President Obama's State of the Union speech was watched by fewer people than any since Bill Clinton's last in 2000. But what percentage of your fellow Americans watched? I took the Nielsen cumulatives, released moments ago, and measured the number of viewers as a percentage of the population each year and found this:

I haven’t watched one of his SOTU speeches since the first one when he was so disrespectful to the SC. I can always read the high points (?) the next day.
In fact, I haven’t listened to his blather at all. He makes my head explode and makes me think Clinton was great...and that is quite a feat.

Every time I watch IDIOCRACY, I pick up on something new. Obama’s SOTU is a perfect time to watch Idiocracy.
