As more and more human rights of U.S. citizens are violated in the name of safety and security, the group Anonymous stands to fight at the side of Americans. Over the holiday weekend, they have even gone as far to announce a call to arms.
The fact that many people are still unaware of the hacker group Anonymous is sign of censorship by todays mainstream media. There is a clear need for groups such as Anonymous as the fact of this direct censorships shows just how clouded the medias freedom of speech has become.

The activist group Anonymous claims to fight for the good of the people despite the ever oppressive state of police and government. It has often fought to defend the defenseless especially after police have failed to, or it was not within their legal limits to, do so. Sign The Petition To Repeal Obamacare

It is unclear the direct reason for the release of the video, but just after Christmas, Anonymous called for the assembly of an, at the moment non-existent, Anonymous Liberation Army. They inform the public via YouTube that if rights are violated, Anonymous stands at the ready to defend those being oppressed and expose those that criminally act illegallyi.e. police and government officials.

They express that civil liberties are already at their breaking points being violated by so-called authority figures on a daily basis. The mask wearing representative urges viewers to act now before its too late and we live in a world where revolution is no longer possible.

The video insists that American citizens take to the street in protest in order to fight for the rights and liberties we have already lost. In doing so, Anonymous hopes to reestablish a freer and less dominated lifestyle for the American public.

Anonymous then quotes Thomas Jefferson saying, the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. This infers that as we stand in face of tyranny, we must act swiftly and in a controlled violent manner.
Several grassroots organizations are already forming across the country as the government continues to infringe on several liberties. Obama continues to go behind Americans back in order to disarm them, and he has also secretly signed a bill that allows for Secret Service to limit your freedom of speech.

As Obama continues to chip away at the legalities protecting America from martial law, this may just be the time to actbut Im afraid that by the time America wakes up, it may just be too late. I believe that is the exact point Anonymous seeks to demonstrate as they make their call to arms.

As Americans can literally watch the liberties and freedoms wash away down the street, there must come a time where Americans stand up to take back what is theirs. And sometimes all it takes to start revolution is a simple sparka simple nudge.

Rick Wells of The Free Patriot states that this may just be, nudge that is felt around the world.
The video ends with a clip from the movie V For Vendetta that relevantly states, violence can be used for good.

The scene in Boston following the bombing there is a most instructive display of how easily fedzilla will take martial control of the cities and burbs, to whatever extent they choose to make it. Katrina in Louisiana and the authorities actions against guns owners is another excellent learning tool.
Great point! Hypothetically, the question we might ask ourselves is: If these folks fight the government, which side would you be for?
Thanks for your comments and unfortunately to often true.
Raising two children, I know how much easier it is to give than to require. My wife and I have tried as often as possible to teach our children that their choices have consequences and more importantly to allow the full brunt of the consequences to impact them.
It is very hard when everyone is so busy just trying to get things done, to make the time and spend the energy on what is right regarding instilling good character.
The battles have often been heated and drawn out, but the kids are going away knowing that it is worth fighting for what is right. Not perfect, but the best we could do. Hoping our kids carry on the tradition.
I can fathom that resistance won't require amassing. You don't think the government controlled the roads in Afghanistan? It's called asymmetric warfare. It takes a tiny little number, even in MOUT conditions.

I'm glad that it did.
We hear so much doom and gloom these days. Much of it is the ravings of frightened souls who've lost their will to resist. Some of it is intentionally planted here by agents provocateurs. Call it psychological warfare. It's debilitating and contagious. If people don't think Free Republic is a prime target for such attacks, they've got another think coming.
In JimRob's mission statement, he declares that he won't allow FR to become a platform for the naysayers and doom and gloomers, but somehow their insidious message creeps through anyway.
He can't be everywhere policing this stuff, so I feel it's incumbent on the rest of us to counter it wherever we can.

No man volunteers for a battle he thinks he cannot win.
And yet, people lose in war all the time.
I wasn’t condemning anyone, and I didn’t see Conservatives condemning anyone.
Those both were situations where the government went out of control so much so that they simply executed people including children.
I find your comments to be reasoned. I agree.
In a society like ours, the mere opposition to the government would throw everything up in the air. It would be so disruptive that you’d have a lot of people blaming you for everything. The government would slander you with no mercy. We have seen how folks buy into anything the government says.
I hear you, but I don’t think you’re right in the overall scheme of things.
You can be as careful and secretive as you want to be.
The government will track you. It won’t take long for them to know what vicinity you were in when things went south. Cross reference a few incidents, and you’re suspect number one.
This isn’t some operation where everything runs smoothly and the good guys prevail. It’s a situation where the bad guys have all the tech they need to end your participation in short order.
In the past, I think it was much more reasonable to think we could run an underground operation. There are so many government informants, so many technical things they have to watch you. I went ballistic when they started putting in cameras everywhere. Brain-trusts on this very forum said, and I quote, “Well, if you have nothing to hide, you don’t have anything to worry about.” They also said, and I quote, “Once you leave your front door you have no expectation of privacy.”
The government is positioned to prevail. Sure enough, we can’t expect any privacy outside our front door. Who knew?
Good luck with pulling anything over on this government.
They couldn’t spot illegals, but friend, they’ll know where you are any time they want to. Count on it.
I believe there are better ways to object than with arms.
I don’t believe we prevail with arms. For that reason I suggest reasoned protest and calls for other citizens to join our cause.
I don’t plan on sitting in my living room waiting for a knock on the door.
Now, if others go out and do cause terrorist acts, guess who will get the blame. That’s right, the folks who stand up in public and condemn what the government is doing.
These folks get put on a list and blamed for being connected to the terrorist element.
I think there is a very good chance that McVeigh was led into what he participated in. We know government agents and informants were crawling all over that operation prior to the event itself.
I know of three different informants several of which had told the government something big was going to happen. Government buildings in Tulsa and OKC were both mentioned as prime targets.
NO INTERVENTION!
That’s got to tell you something right there. I watched FBI agents lie under oath in Washington, D. C. There wasn’t a single person who held them to account. Sonny Bono was among the best, if I haven’t got my investigations mixed up.
I do think McVeigh is toast. It was too expedient to make it look like White militia types were capable of this sort of thing. No mention of the Islamic fringe on this operation either.
We’ll never know the full extent of it. Instead of a White Militia movement, this may have been the first Islamic attack on U. S. soil. Eh, who cares about that. That never panned out into something more sinister did it. Hmmmm?
Washington is as corrupt as any government before it. It just hasn’t played out yet. I suggest we be very careful about giving it reason to play it out.
I have high hopes that the current and growing crop of utterly incompetent political leaders will continue to clone themselves. These people think that the complex functioning of the US just sort of happens and that all it takes is government certification and self esteem to do an important and complex technical job. They will eventually, in pursuit of cargo, bring everything to a screeching halt. Combine this with the rapaciousness of the money interests and those calls to other citizens may be answered.
And that is why you promote defeatism and pre-emptive surrender. You don't believe in yourself or your fellow Americans, even though facts, logic, and reason dictate that you should.
I didn’t say you condemned anyone. I said there were conservatives and liberals alike who stood up for the jackboots at Ruby Ridge and even more so at Mt. Carmel. I almost had a melt down the day that building started burning.
And there are those from both parties that want to see Snowden hanged. Not me! The boy has got guts and a committment to his country. He knows he threw his life away to get the word out to the citizens about what is going on. And he said his biggest fear is that the citizens won’t do anything about it. His biggest fear is coming true.
EVERY congress crook from both parties should have cut off funding to the NSA by now. Stopping spying on the citizens should be the main campaign issue of the next election. But they know there is too much dirt on them. And we elected. Sad, huh.
My guess is that will attack “corporate” sites rather than risk offending The Dear Leader.
