Bill O'Reilly, in an interview with CBS, claims that the Holy Spirit inspired his book entitled 'Killing Jesus" even as he attempts to "correct the Gospels. When confronted with such an arrogant approach to God's Word, they responded in no uncertain terms:
"They have not feared to lay hands upon the sacred Scriptures, saying that they have corrected them. Nor is it likely that they themselves are ignorant of how very bold their offense is. For either they do not believe that the sacred Scriptures were spoken by the Holy Spirit, in which case they are unbelievers, or if they regard themselves as being wiser than the Holy Spirit, what else can they be but demoniacs." (St. Hippolytus of Rome, "Fragment" in Eusebius, History of the Church, 5, ch. 28)
In his book, Bill advances the idea that Jesus could not have spoken the words, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do" because the way he was hung on the cross would not have allowed enough air in His lungs to speak them audibly." Bill also refers to Jesus as "the guy" in his interview with CBS.
The problem with Bill's argument should be immediately obvious to even the most unastute who spend even a modicum of time with Sacred Scripture. In Matthew 27: 46-48, we read: "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, 'Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?' that is, 'My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?' And some of the bystanders hearing it said, 'This man is calling Elijah.' And one of them [because Jesus said "I thirst," Jn 19:28] at once ran and took a sponge, filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink."

I knew this buffoon had a super-sized ego, but that is ridiculous.
I hope O’Reilly has gills, because he has already been fitted for his millstone.
Narcissist, just like the first rebel.
Whoa there blog pimp. While Ted Baxter is closer to senility than common sense; these are some pretty fantastic claims here.
Not buying it.
Hell is a hot place O’Reiley. You have a special reserved seat. Get your knee pads ready, because you and your like WILL hit your knees and admit HE IS LORD!!
“....they regard themselves as being wiser than the Holy Spirit, what else can they be but demoniacs.”
That describes it in a nutshell.
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Is this interview online anywhere?
Bill O’Reilly wants to sell books....this is merely the next book in his series.
He completely misses the point. The story of Jesus doesn’t end with his crucifixion it ends with Easter.
WOW! I’ve always thought of BOR as a bore and a blowhard, those are the nicest things I can say. But even I never knew he was anywhere near so narcissistic and psychotic!
honesly, this guy is a totally dip sh*t... amazing.. he has very bright people on, and constantly talks over them, waves them off, as if they have just said something irrelevent...
I just can’t stand this guy... how is it, that his numbers are so big? I don’t get it.
Ted Baxter indeed... is that Rush’s line? if so, it’s perfect.... O’Reilly is a pompous, smarmy buffoon... might as well where a clown nose, as far as I’m concerned.
O’Reilly reveals the spirit that is within him ... and it isn’t holy by a long stretch.
As far as I am concerned, it hasn’t ended yet.
But he prayed about it!
(Agreeing with you 100%)
Philippians 2:9-11 (KJV)
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Yeah, as a matter of fact, it is.

I’ve not read this CBS article. It may be just as wild as the claims the blogpimp is making. With Bill O’Reilly - anything is possible.
To whom?
Rush Limbaugh was right. He is Ted Baxter. No wonder his wife left him for a Long Island police detective. What a tool.
