Two hours of interrogation of a five year old boy?

I hope the family’s lawyer takes those idiots at the school apart. What ever happened to the days when a teacher just had a chat with the kid and told them not to bring toy guns to school any more? Why didn’t they call the mother immediately if they thought it was a major “crime”? I hope the parents of other children at this school stand up and raise Hell.

All institutions where the central socialist government has a hand in is evil personified.

Anybody who sends their kid to a government school is guilty of child endangerment.

Good questions. I assume this happens because of unthinking “zero tolerance” type rules. And guns, even toy guns, are considered evil.

Now if he brought condoms to school, and talked about being gay, I wonder what the reaction of school officials would have been????

If a school official had done this to my 5 year old granddaughter I would have given the official a “teachable moment.”

That official would have suffered far worse than soiled underpants as well.

This kind of governmental BS just burns me up.

School administrators are wasting their time on episodes like this. They’ve lost their moral compass, and just drifting around with no real grasp or understanding of society around them.

Just another example of child abuse being committed by the indoctrinators at the public “schools”.

...welcome to the world of feminism drunk with power...the games of boyhood need to be sanitized so as to pass muster with the effete gendered elite...

It’s just plain child abuse to send your kids off to these monsters.

Unbelievable. Two hours without calling up his parents? Anyone who does this to a child, a baby, should be fired and banned from ever working in the education system.

The principal also said that if the gun was loaded (caps) he would have had to call the cops.

Maryland —> State with 99% liberal teachers and administrators.

My sister is one and she, like her colleagues, are nitwits to the max.

This is why my grandchildren attend private school.

The kids try to bring in contraband (toys, stickers to decorate a desk - 4 year old granddaughter, etc.)

I watch them so they are removed from the backpacks whenever I suspect there’s something in the bag.

Hope the parents of the kiddo above sue these fools.

“Two hours of interrogation of a five year old boy? “

Exactly. WTF did they expect the kid to tell them?

I swear, back in the day...

The point is to psychologically condition children into believing guns are evil. The schools want to create gun phobia that will make the next few generations panic at the very image of a gun. People who don’t want their children intentionally conditioned to have irrational, deep-seated phobias should refuse to put their kids into public education. Kids are getting engineered, not educated.

Family’s lawyer? In court?

How about if the father pays a little visit to the principal? Behind the gym.

What happened to the anti-bullying movement in schools?

If this was my little boy they would have called the police on a screaming mother. There was a teachable moment and they let it pass.

If the child was gay I’m sure they would have said “don’t bring it to school again dear” patted him on the head and sent him on his way.

If that were to happen in my school I'd have the lad keep it in his backpack and let him take it home.

This idiocy has got to stop.

2 hours of interrogation? Really?! My goodness these administrators are complete idiots. What did they think they were going to get out of the lad? A planned attack with a toy gun? Damn their stupid!

I wonder what they would have done to my 3rd grade friend in 1953 when he brought in his dad’s M-1 rifle with bayonet for show and tell. By the way it was a big hit with all the kids including the teacher.

American public schools have become prisons and just about everyone is starting to notice. They are doomed to further decline and will only be turned around when there is school choice.
