Yellow Rose of Texas is in the hospital for surgery. The odds are not in her favor, this all I know now. I will post more when I know.

Yellow Rose of Texas was a fantastic FReeper, an example to us all. She gave me joy.
I felt so fortunate to be on line in chat with Susie, you, Towanda, Two Thirds, RAH, FrogMom and others when the idea of the convoy was brainstormed up.
We were so busy fighting Clinton that we didn’t have time to fight and browbeat each other as is the practice now.
Almost a decade and a half have passed and I have seen no greater patriots then we saw here in those days.
Many only see the prayer warrior side of you, they don’t know the relentless researcher that lies hidden. Rose ran one of those “chat threads” to many, the didn’t understand the organizational force of true fellowship.
Yellow Rose of Texas will be sorely mourned and missed. But, as long as we have women, and men, like those I have met on this site, this Nation stands a chance and from that I take hope.

“...My mom’s funeral was yesterday. Everyone has been asking why I insisted on yellow roses, when she loved the color red so much. Now I have a link to show them in answer.
