Prayers for strength for Debra and wisdom for her doctors.

Fellow Freepers, please pray for a young mother named Debra. Three days ago she suffered placental abruption in her 32nd week of pregnancy. The baby, a little girl, was delivered by c-section and is doing well, but mom is critically ill due to blood loss and organ failure.
Much of this occurred due to some terrible mistakes made in the small town hospital where she delivered her baby, but she has since been flown to an excellent hospital in a nearby city.
She has had her blood replaced 3 times over, has had multiple surgeries, lost 90% of her intestines, is on dialysis, and is facing more surgery in the next few days.
She and her husband have another little girl (4) in addition to the new baby. The grandparents are friends of ours and go to our church.
Please pray! It is a matter of life and death.

Lord Jesus, be near Thy servant Debra, guide her doctors and comfort her family.

Prayers continue....
Prayers continue for Debra and all concerned with her and her families well being.
It is difficult to write this through tears, but I wanted all of you to know that Debra passed away this morning. She had been in the hospital since the last of her 30+ surgeries was unsuccessful sometime in July. Much of that time she was in the ICU.
Debra decided to stop dialysis last week after declining the option of going into hospice care. Her mother-in-law brought the two girls to see their mom for the last time a few days ago. Debra’s in-laws, our friends, will be caring for the children.
Please pray for Debra’s husband, Daniel, the two girls, and the rest of the family. The older girl is 6 or 7 and the younger is about 18 months old.
Thank you for your prayers. I know I have not included everyone who has prayed for Debra, so if you could let others know, it would be appreciated.
