Fellow Freepers, please pray for a young mother named Debra. Three days ago she suffered placental abruption in her 32nd week of pregnancy. The baby, a little girl, was delivered by c-section and is doing well, but mom is critically ill due to blood loss and organ failure.
Much of this occurred due to some terrible mistakes made in the small town hospital where she delivered her baby, but she has since been flown to an excellent hospital in a nearby city.
She has had her blood replaced 3 times over, has had multiple surgeries, lost 90% of her intestines, is on dialysis, and is facing more surgery in the next few days.
She and her husband have another little girl (4) in addition to the new baby. The grandparents are friends of ours and go to our church.
Please pray! It is a matter of life and death.
Thank you.
Thank you for the good news update. Prayers offered for a speedy recovery and as you said, His comfort to her family and friends.

Prayers up for this family.
Oh my—prayers for the precious new baby, and for the dear mother. May she please be healed to be the mother she wants to be. Please, God, direct the health care providers to do their jobs properly.
Holy Lord,
We exalt You and thank You for Your wonderful watchcare over Debra. We know You want her well for You provided her healing through Your Son on the Cross of Calvary. Now we speak that healing into her body, confessing that her kidneys and intestines shall be restored to full function and her blood content shall return to normal. May the Resurrection power of the Savior bring complete restoration to every cell in her body. Lord, we thank You that this little baby is basking in the arms of the family until she can rejoin her Mama. We praise You for Your faithfulness and Your amazing grace. May this family bring glory and honor unto You through their victorious testimony. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Ha, ha, thanks. You sound like my kind of Gramma!
No news so far today, so I hope that means Debra is stable and there are no more complications. She is in one of our best hospitals.
Thanks again to all for your prayers. How marvelous are the works of our merciful God!
I will keep you posted when I hear more.
Joining in with prayers up for Debra and her family. She must truly be a fighter. Praying that strength along with the many other prayers being said on her behalf will make the healing and recovery process faster.
Thanks...so very very much.
The news continues to be good! Debra is off the ventilator now, but they are discouraging her from trying to talk much. So, she asked for her cell phone so she can text. :-)
The hospital has installed a closed circuit TV in Debra’s room so she can see her baby at all times. The doctors were saying that her hospital stay may be a matter of months, but I hope they were just being overly cautious.
Of course, she is still in the ICU and very ill, but every day has brought some encouraging news.
Thank you again for your prayers, and please pass this along to others.
Freegards,
Pining

Prayers continuing for Debra, her baby, and all loved ones and friends. Prayers for the doctors and nursing staff treating her as well.
Praying for Debra’s continued improvement..I am thanking God for it.
Prayers up for Debra, her husband, her mother, and all of the family.
Prayers continuing. Are there any new details regarding Debra’s condition?
Thanks for asking. I was planning on posting an update today.
Debra was taken off the ventilator but developed a fever, so they put her back on it. I don’t know how the 2 are connected, but that is what I was told. Her kidneys are still not working and she is on dialysis. Other than that, she is stable and resting comfortably.
Please continue to pray that Debra does not get any infections or pneumonia.
Please pass this on to others.
Goc bless you!
Please see update in my latest comment.
Thanks for your prayers.
