Maybe things are worse with Bella than has been publicly announced, and they want to spend what time she has with her? Or could be that he was trailing badly in the GOP primary in his own state, which wouldn’t be good for any kind of future in politics.

I just heard from my postman’s dog and he says Santorum will be announced as the new interim manager for the Marlins!
He has a sickly child, he needs to take care of that baby.....If Romney picks him for something then I’m glad but right now I would think his family is first....
Rickie must be delusional if he thinks he has a political future. He might have to wait 8 years for another run at POTUS. Even if Willard loses this November there will be a lot of GOP talent in the 2016 race, I am thinking of Jindhal, Christie, Rubio, Walker in WI, etc. The only reason Rick did so well was a sign of how bad Willard is and the lack of any legitimate alternative.
