ABR.
Anyone but RINOmney.
Mike
Newt has not had the receptiveness of the American voters on his side.
This has been a huge disappointment for my wife and I.
We are sick of the stupidity the American people have shown this primary season.
I like Newt, but if “55% of Republicans” want him to stay in, why is he only getting 6% of the vote in places like Wisconsin?
Someone needs to tell those other 55% of Republicans to try a bit harder.
GO NEWT!
I’m among them.
Newt knows what he’s doing. He’s been around a long time. He’s going to use his delegates as leverage for the convention platform battle. And he knows how to whip votes! He’s not done being an articulate thorn in the establishment’s side.
I go with option 4. Newt stays in and the two amateur acts drop out.
Give it up already, PA-Lease. Newt has run his course, he’s done, he’s , like, like, so-out-a-here....
A sincere question, did Newt ever correct his error, saying
life begins and implantation?
I tried to find where it said that 55% didn’t trust Romney. Instead I found that 60% would be excited or satisfied with Romney’s nomination.
+1
If the headline is correct, then I have a dumb question?
Why is Romney so far ahead in the delegate count? The voters, by definition, specify their preference by voting for the candidate of their choice. If Romney is so unpopular among the GOP voters, it doesn’t seem to be reflected in the current delegate totals. So there seems to be a disconnect here. Am I missing something?
The RNC changed the rules in FL and possibly in other state primaries, from winner takes all delegates to awarding delegates by the percentage of votes cast for those on the ballot.
The media has been counting FL as winner takes all for Mitt. Will Newt challenge the winner takes all and force the RNC to live by the change they made.
Which is it?
I actually gave "Politijim" a hit and read his entire post. There's nothing at the blog to back up the assertion that 2/3 want Newt to stay in. I read it over again to be sure.
Now, as it happens, I, too, want Newt to stay in. But I hate wasting my time on FR posts that don't back up what they claim.
Newt is my man but reality is Romney can now get enough delegates before the convention due to Santorum’s numbers falling off and Newt getting very few.
As a result of the above, Romney will be the candidate and I believe Hussein will beat him. So, do you have stored water and food?
Duh, then vote for him.
If 55 percent of the voters want Newt in the race, I suggest they vote for him.
It’s a crazy idea, I know.
I'm one of the 55%! I don't trust him and, if he is the RNC nominee, I won't squander my vote for him.
The RNC has convinced itself that if they keep pushing RINOmney and he becomes the nominee, "Republicans will rally around our nominee".
This former Republican, now Tea Partier WON'T!!
Why does the picture with the article (second bar in the graph) say that if Newt Gingrich dropped out, Rick Santorum would be the “mean challenger to Mitt Romney.” Was that supposed to say “main?”
Effin’ A right Newt needs to stay in. Our only hope is for a brokered convention. Either Sarah or Newt.
