If the headline is correct, then I have a dumb question?

Why is Romney so far ahead in the delegate count? The voters, by definition, specify their preference by voting for the candidate of their choice. If Romney is so unpopular among the GOP voters, it doesn’t seem to be reflected in the current delegate totals. So there seems to be a disconnect here. Am I missing something?

Democrats can and do vote in the Republican primaries, who do you suppose they vote for-—the guy they think would be easiest for their guy to beat.
