How is Ron Paul soaring; given that albatross; and more to point; why is he gathering momentum?

Are Repubs that crazy or desperate? What? Are his supporters on a Repub 'suicide mission'?

How stupid can Repubs be?

A rhetorical question; needing no answer; at this time. We know the RNC has it's own brand of stupidity as well.(i.e. telling Repubs to NOT criticize Obama; lest they offend those who 'feel sorry for him'. This even worse, perhaps; that Ron Paul "cases". . .and of course, the kind of judgment that allowed an Obama victory last election.

The Republicans will get you little incursions.

The Democrats will get you wars caused by allowing evil to breed.

Ron Paul will get you an all out world war, not immediately but with 10 years.

Iowa caucuses require one to be a registered Republican. After a straw vote for presidential preference, one must sub-caucus and select like-minded folks to continue to the county and state levels, where Iowa’s 30-40 of 2400 national delegates are selected. Having to pay attention and follow through eliminates most Paul supporters.

Anything can happen before IA.

The two conservatives combined are about 19% so current rino frontrunners can be toppled.

Vote for Newt is vote for amnesty. Over my dead body.

What would the correct description be for a person that would say:
“Just think of what happened after 9/11. Immediately before there was any assessment there was glee in the administration because now we can invade Iraq,” Ron Paul Dec 8, 2011

A. Nutcase
B. Classless jerk
C. Ignorant
D. All of the above

I wouldn’t call 9-10% surging. Looks like Newt has it about sewn up.

Everyone needs to study the issue of Ron Paul's racist and nutcase newsletters. No, Paul cultists, it does not matter that your cult leader denies writing the trash.

For decades, hundreds of thousands of people were reading trash under the Ron Paul name, by people selected by Ron Paul, and gathering campaign funds for Ron Paul. Ron Paul cultists either your cult leader is the nutcase of those letters or one of the most incompetent people in history to be oblivious of them year after year after year....

Ron Paul is very good on domestic affairs, but his ideas of why Mohammedans oppose us are as nutty as they can be. (Not that I favor the Bush/McCain policy of decade long wars of occupation for nation building. I don't.) These people hate us because of who we are. A free people, Christian and Jewish. Period.

Also, I don't trust him on border issues anymore than I do Gingrich, Perry, or Romney.

If elected, we would just have to make sure there is a congress in place that will insist on border enforcement, stopping Mohammedan immigration into our country, and responding with overwhelming force (but not endless occupation) to any attach against us.

Why is it so surprising that there are Republicans who don’t want to go broke borrowing money from China to fight wars with Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, North Korea, Libya, Egypt, Kosovo, Somalia, Argentina and places yet unknown?

Ron Paul Soars In GOP Race, But Foreign Policy Views Are An Albatross

An ALBATROSS? AN ALBATROSS?!!!!! More like a 100 ton anchor! Between his foreign policy and blaming the U.S. for 9-11, this guy couldn't win dog catcher. Then again, the Paulites are, well,....

Ron Paul, on foreign policy, is either insane or and idiot. There is no third option except he may be an insane idiot on foreign policy.

His has NO business running as a GOP candidate. He should be a third party candidate which in reality he is.

IMO, I condsider his as bad an option as Romney. Should the GOP go totally bonkers and nominate Ron Paul....I will not vote for him in a general election anymore than I would Romney.

The only reason Paul is soaring in Iowa is for two reasons, one, Newt Gingrich is a big government Republican and two, Ron Paul’s well-organized in Iowa.

Either you care about foreign policy or you don’t. I doubt most voters really give a rat’s rear end until something bad happens.

Those foreign policy stances are the door-closer for me. Fortunately, it`s just weird little Iowa, though. Hard to imagine him gaining meaningful traction beyond it... of course, with the muddled hot mess that is the Republican Party... who knows?

One certainty for me is.. I am NOT voting for Ron Paul.. ever.
