In a February 13, 1818 letter to H. Niles, John Adams wrote:

“But what do we mean by the American Revolution? Do we mean the American war? The Revolution was affected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments, of their duties and obligations…This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution.“

The first “shots” of the Second American Revolution have not been fired, but the battle lines have been drawn.

There is now a radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the American people.

Petitioning the current Congress for the redress of grievances is futile. Members of Congress have turned a deaf ear to the voices of their constituents.

The present occupiers of the US Government openly violate the Constitution, are hopelessly corrupt and politically correct, have brought us to the brink of bankruptcy, have opened our borders to illegal immigration and have permitted a fifth column promoting Sharia law to infiltrate our society.

They can no longer be trusted as guardians of our posterity.

Not a week goes by without yet another document analyst claiming that his Certificate of Live Birth presented by Obama at his press conference on April 27, 2011 is a forgery.

Personally, I think most will just realize the courts don't agree with them and abandon the entire issue, but there will probably be a few fanatical hold outs who will post all kinds of crazy stuff.

Conservatives are used to the courts being WRONG. It is not surprising when a system influenced by 20 years of appointing Kook judges during Roosevelt/Truman era has had a long lasting and deleterious effect on the competence of our entire legal system.

Only Liberals believe in made up crap law by Liberal courts, and accept it as gospel "ex cathedra." The rest of us with good sense look on and laugh at the latest ridiculous thing the idiot liberals have tried to claim is our "law."

I haven’t said that there were no discussions of his eligibility before the election.

I said that the definition of “born in country of citizen parents” - something that supposedly we all should know to be Constitutionally literate - was not mentioned on said eligibility threads until AFTER the election.

All that has been shown so far - time after time - are dual citizenship arguments.

They are not the same.

Obviously.

Are you simply trying to say that everybody at FR is stupid?
Are you saying that the issue doesn't matter simply because it wasn't raised here?

Truth is always the best defense. The reason we keep repeating it is because anything else wouldn't be the truth.

You and other birthers are equating the upholding of the Constitution and laws of the United States as pretty much every credible legal mind in the country understands them as "celebrating the rape of the Constitution."

It simply isn't so.

You discount the corrosive effect Roosevelt/Truman had on the courts and our legal system. It put in place an entire GENERATION OF IDIOTS. Since the law schools had to teach idiot theory to get success in front of idiot judges, the whole system has been idiotized. Wrong decisions are built into the system nowadays.

The magpie is a crow-like bird, European magpies fall in the genus Pica. The strange obsessive compulsive eating disorder known as pica is named after the magpie, as it was considered a bird that would eat anything. Persons afflicted with pica do eat very strange things, including dirt. The dirt-eating form of pica is called geophagy.

The phrase "eat crow" is of the same derivation. Back in the era of New Amsterdam a poor farmer was upset at his even poorer boarders who demanded better food at the boarding table than he could provide. He mocked them, claiming he could eat anything. Well crow, that is like a magpie, is considered inedible because it is a bird of carrion. But the farmer did eat it. His boarders unfortunately has spiked it with tobacco snuff. The farmer said, "Well, I eat it but I didn't like it!"

It became a staple tale of colonial and early American folk humor.

Pica is considered an OCD disorder. In many cases it can be cured by diet supplements, zinc in many cases of dirt or pottery eating.

Have you ever suffered from some form of an OCD?

Where it’s a problem for me is when people are so committed to their point of view that 1) they simply can’t be swayed by any facts or reason, and 2) they personally attack fellow conservatives who’ve looked into the matter in detail and come to a different conclusion.

You found a document that says a "Natural born citizen" can have a foreign father? Really? I'd love to see it. You see, all I can find are documents which say the exact opposite.

Please present your conclusive evidence that foreign father was okay with the founders.

Most of the people whom i've argued with about foreign parents, have themselves a foreign parent. For them the issue is not objective. They feel that they are the equal to any American in Loyalty, and they simply regard a requirement that says otherwise as unfair, and therefore invalid.

To cut to the chase, do you have a foreign parent, or does your children or someone else you care about? Is there a personal emotional angle for you regarding this issue?

I've engaged in discussion with birthers, raised points they had absolutely no answer to. Completely disproven the claim, leaving the person making the claim slinking quietly away because he has absolutely no answer he can make to reality.

Do you have an example of this? You certainly haven't shown any evidence that *I* regard as credible.

I think a lot of people were all over the place on this.

Fine, it keeps the ether of it in the air.

Still, gots tuh beets duh Won on something he nevuh had before.

A record and one that is absolutely dismal. The best part will be anyone debating him is going to keep asking “What were you thinking?” “What was your strategy and it’s intended outcome?”

Libya, Arab Spring, Economy, Energy, etc.

When he pitches his ball it is going to be to easy to send that thing right over the fence.

“Well, how’s that working?” “No kidding? Missed by much?” “Need more time? LOL, the American worker doesn’t have the leisure time approach to putting food on their table”.

Where there was no record there is now and the foundation of it and any argument in defense will be cracked for being built on sand.

As to the the notion that Donofrio only argued dual citizenship, please think about that argument in terms of one's parents' citizenship. Kind of like arguing that one is partially pregnant or a bisexual is not gay?

Donofrio's first complaint in NJ State Court used as an example a 2008 Presidential candidate on the NJ ballot, from memory a gentleman with a name like Cardona, who was an admitted citizen of Nicaragua. Hence no vetting by the NJ Sec. of State of anyone whatsoever.

Further, Donofrio needs no brief from me. If the standard is now native American and not natural born American, it's just arguing over a few words, over the meaning of 'is', is it not? Let's go Article by Article, Amendment by Amendment, and change a few words here or there.

The left recently lost big time with SCOTUS on 'militia.' But they managed to insert a few 'rights' that never appear on the page, like 'privacy.' Score one or more for them.

Do words matter? Right now 'War' (Art. I, Sec. 8) is a word in play. War used to mean war, but our President would have us believe it means something else, like a indirectly managed temporarily violent engagement with undeclared enemies in which you use your armed forces to destroy its noncombatants, defenders, property and country not needing any comments whatsoever or even funding from Congress yet putting American treasure, men and women at risk." Next up, we have Art. IV, Sec. 4 'Invasion.'

There is simply no way that this was something widely believed and accepted before it became a birther maxim - shortly AFTER the election.

I strongly strongly disagree. As evidenced by Bingham's writing this was something widely believed and accepted in the middle 1800's. I have no reason to believe the 1800's understanding was any different than the 1700's understanding that preceded it or the 1900's understanding that followed it. The contemporary birther movement manufactured no belief. It is simply based upon knowledge already well understood throughout history.

I am saying that it wasn't something everyone who was Constitutionally literate knew, nor was it something taught in American civics classes.

Early ineligibility arguments focused on dual citizenship or that he was “really” born in Kenya.

Only after the election was it that ‘everyone who is Constitutionally literate should know’ that the standard under Article II section 1 is “born in country of citizen parents”.

I formed my own opinion long before 0bama ran for President - during the Bush vs McCain nomination battle for 2000. It is that the Constitution only mentions two subdivisions of U.S. citizen - natural born or naturalized.

I would like a final ruling on the issue and I think Orly Taitz is ill equipped to be “point” on this. And yet in our precedent based system she is busily ‘muddying the water’ with all kinds of Kenyan birth certificate garbage.

This has been an absolute three ring circus, truther Berg, CFP, the WND crowd putting up billboards asking “Where is the Birth Certificate?”.

I have warned for YEARS now that this was a trap not a “Trump” card.

I said to “For $20 this would all go away!!!!!” that the document would, of course, be said to be fake.

This has, as Long Form COLB T-shirts and Coffee Mugs can attest, been damaging to our side.
