As we enter the GOP primary season, I'm starting to notice more and more an annoying trend here in FR. It seems as though everytime there's an article, or someone posts a comment about Romney, either pro or con, it nearly always devolves into an extended, and acrimonious discussion about the Mormon faith. Those who defend it, and those who, for whatever reasons, can't abide it, both sides seem determined to wage an "end of times" batte on all the FR threads. Frankly, I'm tired of it, and just wish it would stop. I think that probably 99% of others here feel the same way.
And now we witness you grovelling, so that you can continue to spew your demonically inspired beliefs at FR. You are an adherent to a cult which is anti-Christian, anti-Bible, yet you spin like a dervish top claiming you believe in the God of Abraham. You lie, plain and simple. The God of Abraham was not a man who earned exaltation and got appointed to be god over earth by a council of gods. But that is what is at the heart of mormonism, that heretical assertion that your founders taught to the poor deluded souls who followed them into Hell. Readers might find it helpful to google search the mormon teaching on 'infinite progression of gods' taught by your leadership of the cult known euphemistically as Momronism, aka LDS, inc.
Again, for the umteenth time, here are but a few of the quotes from your founding liars, and yes, HInckley, a recently dead prophet of mormonism was a liar, too, so I'll start the quotes with one from him which contradicted his weasel wording just a week before, when he claimed he didn't know much about the Lorenzo Snow couplet!
from LDS Prophet Hinckley:
From the 1994 LDS Conference report:
On the other hand, the whole design of the gospel is to lead us onward and upward to greater achievement, even, eventually, to godhood. This great possibility was enunciated by the Prophet Joseph Smith in the King Follet sermon (see Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pp. 342-62) and emphasized by President Lorenzo Snow. It is this grand and incomparable concept: As God now is, man may become! (See The Teachings of Lorenzo Snow, comp. Clyde J. Williams, Salt Lake City: Bookcraft, 1984, p. 1)We were begotten by our Father in Heaven; the person of our Father in Heaven was begotten on a previous heavenly world by His Father; and again, He was begotten by a still more ancient Father, and so on, from generation to generation, from one heavenly world to another still more ancient, until our minds are wearied and lost in the multiplicity of generations and successive worlds, and as a last resort, we wonder in our minds, how far back the genealogy extends, and how the first world was formed, and the first father was begotten. But why does man seek for a first, when revelation informs him that God's works are without beginning? (Lds apostle Orson Pratt, The Seer, p. 132, 1853)
I learned a testimony concerning Abraham, and he reasoned concerning the Gods of heaven. '...Intelligences exist one above another, so that there is no end to them.' If Abraham reasoned thus--If Jesus Christ was the Son of God, and John discovered that God the Father of Jesus Christ had a Father, you may suppose that He had a Father also. Where was there ever a son without a father? And where was there ever a father without first being a son? Whenever did a tree or anything spring into existence without a progenitor? And everything comes in this way. Paul says that which is earthly is in the likeness of that which is heavenly. Hence if Jesus had a Father, can we not believe that He had a Father also? I despise the idea of being scared to death at such a doctrine, for the Bible is full of it. I want you to pay particular attention to what I am saying. Jesus said that the Father wrought precisely in the same way as His Father had done before Him. As the Father had done before? He laid down His life, and took it up the same as His Father had done before. (Joseph Smith, Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 373)
What's being said here? The teaching of infinite regression of gods! Smith is claiming that Jesus had a grandpa and great-grandpa!
In the very beginning the Bible shows there is a plurality of Gods beyond the power of refutation. It is a great subject I am dwelling on. The word Eloheim ought to be in the plural all the way through--Gods. The heads of the Gods appointed ONE God for us... (Joseph Smith, Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 372)
Son, you stand at the edge of a great chasm fixed. If you don't come out of that cult and stop working against God's Spirit with your insistence that there are 'gods', you will spend eternity with the founder of mormonism, in Hell. Stop lying , saying you believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You prove with your very next post that you don't believe in the God of Abraham because you believe in gods and have been taught by demonically inspired teachers that a council of gods appointed the exalted man to be god over the earth and all humanity. THAT IS HERETICAL, so stop claiming you believe in the God of Abraham.
Only because we have experienced him.
We DO have more of a record with Romney to evaluate, than we had with Barak.
A point made! A mooselimb president would be unreachable, but at least a Mormon president would have an ear wanting to hear from God not some bloodlusting head hunter lesser moon goddess turned the great allah by demonic inspiration. I just hope and pray We The People are never faced with that choice of two fails.
Mormon or Muslim, which one wants to rape my daughters and cut off my head?
I’ll choose the other one if those are my choices.
I suspect there are more than one Deist here on FR. But as you say, most afraid to ID themselves for fear of being pounced on by all the church ladies.
Smooth, full-bodied blend of Colombian and Brazilian coffees roasted a little longer for a richer aroma and taste.
Always fresh, always delicious.
Add Caramel or French Vanilla flavoring for 30 cents.

“I just hope and pray We The People are never faced with that choice of two fails”
If you mean that you hope Rmoney does NOT get the Nomination, then I completely agree with you. However it does seem that we usually wind up voting for “our guy” because he’s not “the other guy.” Not because he’s right or trustworthy. I’m tired of politicians. I am voting for Cain.
OOOOoooh!
Let's see some!
That'll marginalize 'im!)
SISSIEs!
Can't their GOD protect them? ;^)
And if Obi ran again today, he would still get 80% of the Jewish vote and $. I’ve just never heard Romney make anti-Israel statements. Not like the peanut farmer and the community organizer have.
Oh NO!!
DU will say, "He's no lady! He just plays one on FR!", now!
They were quoted in my post. You chose not to copy and paste them. I can’t help that.
Why?
he already lost his brother, Abel's, vote!
I told you why in my post. You really don’t read the whole post do you?
Most don’t enjoy being rat-packed, even if by church ladies. Largely a group of harmless, humorous, yet colorless dingbats here on FR. Many of whom come from tiny congregations. And the reason for that is obvious...
Jim, does this extend to other faiths that are not traditional Christianity? If an orthodox Jew, or a Unitarian, wanted to explain why the idea of the Trinity is false, would that be zot bait as well?
I'm sorry. I did not realize this was the QUOTE you had in mind...
If you're saying you'd vote for such a pre-born wolf in sheep's clothing, I actually would challenge your so-called "conservative" credentials.
I guess my question should be re-phrased:
"Is it really an INSULT to have your credentials challanged?"
You know, I guess if I really have a problem with you besides the bigotry that is, its that you must insult everyone that disagrees with you.
After all; CHALLENGING is what we DO on FR!
Personally, I am not insulted when folks want to know where I am coming from.
I figure that I've not made myself plainly understood.
Well; you're right there!!
The GOP primary structure alone gives a smooth talking rino a leg up.
And there is no getting away from the fact that registered Republicans as a whole are not nearly as conservative as Freepers.
So anyone who climbs on an FR soapbox and hollas "I'll ___________ if Mitt is the nominee!!" should consider that he may well have to live up to those words.
I did, but failed to understand completely.
I now go liberal and blame: LACK of COFFEE!
