That’s a big block....just to split it would devastate Obama.

An outsider is truly wanted. Cain will shock many and I hope he picks West as VP.

Cain is not a politician, so he doesn’t speak “poly-speak”.

Any of the Carolina list would be better than what we have now...

I knew doodley about Cain until last night. He impressed me VERY favorably.

He seems to have all of the characteristics that have caused some Freepers to support Trump, with none of the loose-lipped idiocy or liberal baggage.

Hermain Cain is pretty impressive in the short 10 minutes I saw.

As far as the others, I couldn’t be less interested if I tried.

I met Herman Cain a couple months ago. He has my support until such time as he doesn’t want it any more.

Been a Cain supporter since he announced his committee. This guy is the real deal.

Cain must continue to promote himself as a "big-picture
experienced-executive decision maker" and not a person
immersed and lost in the minutia of an issue.

After all that is what we need in the WH.

Frank Luntz was just flabbergasted by his own findings. He said he has never seen such a strong response to any debate or speech that he has focus grouped.

He has never seen anywhere near the actual changing of the minds that he saw last night. Hannity kept trying to cover for his buddy Newt and Huck and others who did not show up, but the focus groups were having none of it. If you didn’t show, you lost, and among those who did show up, Cain routed them.

And actually, the comments showed much more intelligence than the normal Luntz focus groups.

Cain by a country mile. Pawlenty and Santorum came off as very rigid and authoritarian. It wasn’t what they said, it was all in the delivery. That never sells.

Ironic, since the word for the morning on Fox&Friends seemed to be ‘Pawlenty won’.

Several different commentators/newsies called Pawlenty the winner, with Cain making a good showing.

Cain / West 2012 .... !

(With Trump bankrolling the effort, and Palin rallying the troops.)

I like Cain....a lot....but Chris Wallace nailed it this morning on Fox and Friends when he said that, impressive as he was, Cain really needs to bone up on foreign policy (i.e. actually HAVE a foreign policy plan) to play in this league.

He truly was dead-on right. It’s great to have business acumen and common sense, combined with an appreciation of true American Constitutional values. Cain has all that; all to the good. Still, he’s wanting a role that demands much more. He needs a Brain Trust right away and needs to do his homework......then he’ll have a real chance.

Probably all of the men up there are fine men and have some good ideas, but we need someone forceful, tough, plain spoken. Besides Cain, the others seem like dweebs. We gotta have someone with a big personality to go against Obama. They can’t be all personality like Trump, but big personality has gotta be part of it. I like Cain and I will enthusiastically support him should he get it. The only other one I see out there that has a big enough plain, talking personality out there like Herman Cain is Sarah Palin.

Cain has a good head on his shoulders. Unfortunately, he's unknown. He has no "voting record" that would allow us to know who he really is. Unless a gazillion questions were asked, we'd never know. Remember, Oboma was unknown and unvetted, and look what happened when voters made the mistake of assuming he was on the American peoples side.
So far, there's only been one debate, and not all the candidates were there. This was just a blip on the radar screen, but Cain did very well. Out of them all, I thought Cain won, too.
