Cain has a good head on his shoulders. Unfortunately, he's unknown. He has no "voting record" that would allow us to know who he really is. Unless a gazillion questions were asked, we'd never know. Remember, Oboma was unknown and unvetted, and look what happened when voters made the mistake of assuming he was on the American peoples side.
So far, there's only been one debate, and not all the candidates were there. This was just a blip on the radar screen, but Cain did very well. Out of them all, I thought Cain won, too.

He no longer an “unknown”.
It is easy to know who he is, read his books, read his commentaries, listen to his interviews, podcasts of his shows. There is a record of where Herman stands on every issue going back a long, long time.
We have people who know him even back in the days of Burger King and Godfather’s who have volunteered in his campaign and they testify that this is who he is. I have followed him since 2004 and he is the most consistent public conservative I have ever followed, hands down. And the most articulate.
