Appearing on Good Morning America Friday morning, Vice President Joe Biden said the nation's attitude on gay marriage is changing, and that "it’s inevitable there will be national consensus."
He told George Stephanopolous the same thing is happening on the issue of gay marriage that happened with "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" in the military.
Recently, the President said in a press conference his position on the controversial issue is "evolving":
The sentiment I expressed then is still where I am — which is, like a lot of people, I'm wrestling with this. My attitudes are evolving on this. I have always firmly believed in having a robust civil union that provides the rights and benefits under the law that marriage does. I've wrestled with the fact that marriage traditionally has had a different connotation. But I also have a lot of very close friends who are married gay or lesbian couples.
And squaring that circle is something that I have not done yet, but I'm continually asking myself this question and I do think that — I will make this observation — that I notice there is a big generational difference. When you talk to people who are in their 20s, they don't understand what the holdup is on this, regardless of their own sexual orientation. And obviously when you talk to older folks, then there’s greater resistance.

These men are fools to think they can transform God’s holy sacrament of marriage into an act of sodomy.

They’ve been “marrying” in bridal dresses and all for years now. And “divorcing” and “remarrying” and “shacking up”. So, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, what’s new?

This is the flaw in liberalism. There are two things that are considered an excuse for any kind of behavior, and justification for wholehearted liberal support of that behavior:
1.) They determine that because some people engage in an activity or behavior, anyone speaking out against it is a hypocrite because theoretically they might engage in it, and that having limitations on that behavior or activity is hypocritical. To avoid hypocrisy, that behavior must not only be allowed, but wholeheartedly accepted as normal.
2.) It is considered too difficult in some way to discourage or outlaw a behavior or activity. In that case, it must be unequivocally accepted. ie: “We can’t stop teen sex, so we should encourage it.”
It is one of the things I despise about the Left, their Orwellian control of language and symbols.
I cannot even mouth the word diversity or look at a rainbow (except for a real one) without being irritated. That is their goal. They take a nice word like “gay” and hijack it for an abomination. Now, normal people won’t use the word. I refuse to use the word “gay” when referring to homosexuals.
I know it offends some people, but I view that as their problem. It offends me that they use the word “gay” in the fashion they do.

Yes. Well said indeed. Most but not all conservatives could care less what people do in their private lives, hence the support of many for something like DADT. As long as people keep their behavior to themselves, it is between them and their maker.
What many of us abhor is the attempt to legitimize an abomination at the governmental level.
That is what the repeal of DADT is all about. In the minds of liberals, the damage to the military is a two-fer.

All I can say is the Repubs better take extremely decisive, bold and courageous action the day they walk in to DC in January. Make new rules, the Dems do. No being nice, bipartisan, friendly, nothing. Mean, harsh, loud, and no "bark is worse than bite" - (I want them to bark, growl AND bite) - in your face is the only way to go.
The lefitsts have to be utterly defeated, defanged, thrown out, defunded, belittled, subpoenaed, arraigned, deported, charged, sentenced and imprisoned, which ever is suitable.

It’s a mindset, the liberal mindset of being non-judgemental, which opens the door to what was unimaginable years ago.
The liberal mindset is actually super-judgemental in its objectives. Honestly, if anyone actually bothered thinking about what some “Great Society” (Courtesy of Lyndon Johnson) means, it means exactly a process of shoving various aspects down people’s throats, it means excercising compulsory means over free will, which by its existence does not allow for an ideal free, perfectly peaceful society to exist.
Where does this homosexual stuff end ?
For a start sexual behavior can be trained or learned and unlearned - Its called neuroplasticity.
Homosexuality is dysfunctional, maladaptive behavior. You can not achieve your full sexual potential as a homosexual nor fulfill your full role in society.
So its sociopathic, any form of psycho/or sociopathic behavior reinforces all the others.
So where does it end? When homo marriage is legal they will want to lower the age for sex, then they will want inter species sex, on and on it goes all along reinforcing other maladaptive trends.
We who oppose will have our rights removed. We will not be permitted to oppose them or use words about them that we choose to. We will be labeled as bigots or “homophobic”.
Really homosexuals are phobic of having their mental problem addressed.
