Virginians Protest 9/11 Mosque Fundraiser Featuring Connolly, Moran and Kaine
Praise Senator Jim Webb and Delegate Kaye Kory for Withdrawing
Fairfax, VA -- A coalition of Virginia and national organizations charged today three prominent Virginians – Congressman Gerry Connolly, Congressman Jim Moran and for Governor Tim Kaine have “trashed their oath to protect and defend the U.S. and Virginia Constitutions” by appearing as special guests at a fundraising dinner for the 9/11 mosque Dar Al Hijrah in Falls Church, Virginia.
The groups also praised Senator Jim Webb and Delegate Kaye Kory for withdrawing from the event after being contacted by constituents. “While brave young Virginia men and women are risking their lives to fight terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan, Connolly, Moran and Kaine are yucking it up with them and slapping each other on the back over at the Marriott,” said James Lafferty, chairman of the Virginia Anti-Shariah Task Force (VAST. “Look at their Federal Election Commission reports. These spineless politicians are owned and operated by the radical Islamists and their sinister front groups.”
The Dar Al Hijrah mosque has served as a center for terrorists from two of the 9/11 terrorists who attacked the Pentagon up to and including the Fort Hood murderer Nidal Hassan. It has been directed by a string of radical imams including former imam Anwar Al-Awlaki who has since been identified as a commander in Al Quaeda.
A coalition of citizen groups including VAST, Act for America and the Center for Security Policy in Washington, DC have organized Virginians to oppose the spread of radical Islam in Virginia. A protest will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday at the Fairview Park Marriott, 3111 Fairview Park Drive, Falls Church, VA 22042.

In the midst of what is being called the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, where our government has created the largest deficit in history, giving a billion to anyone is insane.
