Facebook page is on fire with support for Stupak's opponent
Daniel Benishek is running for Congress against Bart Stupak. Since Stupak announced that he cut a deal with Barack Obama and will now support Health Care Reform, Benishek’s Facebook page has been on fire with well-wishes, and commitments of donations.
Benishek is pro-life, and as a surgeon knows a little about Health Care.

He’s got great qualifications. If he plays his cards right and doesn’t come off like a doofus, he could be poised for a big win. Love to see STupak go down in flames.

Every few seconds, his facebook fan page has a few more subscribers. It went up by about 50 in the few minutes I was there.

He just announced his campaign this week. The Stupak move shoved Benishek into the limelight. People are so PO’d at Stupak that they are flocking to Benishek’s page and supporting him from all 50 states.

Please don’t put up misleading stories like “contributions now pouring in’ when the candidate’s own site is not set up to receive online donations. No one knows what’s ‘pouring in.’ It will happen but to post erroneous information is not appropriate for this site.
