California Senator Diane Feinstein (D) rebuffed criticisms that forcing all taxpayerseven those who believe it is murderto pay for abortions is morally wrong.
Morality isnt something we can leave up to the individual, Feinstein said. People have all kinds of crazy ideas about what is or isnt moral. Its up to the government to settle on a common moral code for society. It is the citizens responsibility to support the governments decision, even if he or she personally disagrees. So, yes, most definitely, if congress passes a law requiring taxpayers to fund abortions it is everyones moral obligation to support that law.
Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-Md) went even further by insisting that opposition to the health care legislation before it is enacted is immoral. There are pregnant women out there who are too poor to pay for their own abortions, Mikulski asserted. It is the obligation of those fortunate enough to be able to pay taxes to come to the aid of those less well-off. Sadly, personal greed impedes the correct moral action by individuals left to make their own decisions. This is where government must step in to ensure a moral outcome. Those who would attempt to block government action by opposing this bill are clearly on the side of immorality.

If I’m looking for moral leadership, I am not looking at my elected officials!
This isn’t satire at all! I have no doubt that Feinstein and Mikulsi would agree with every quote satirically ascribed to them.
Feinstein is invoking Alinsky’s rules - stating her demand, then cloaking it in “morality”.
Rules for Radicals should be required reading - it shines the light on all the tactics being used by the left to further their socialist/Marxist/communist agenda
“Absolutely, totally morally bankrupt and corrupt.”
The one that first comes to mind to me is Obama’s new “Fisting Czar”.
I seem to recall Mikulski saying these or words similar. As to Feinstein, crazy speak flows from her mouth like foam from a can of shaving cream.
Morality isnt something we can leave up to the individual, Feinstein said.”
Yeah so we are supposed to leave it up to her? ;-)
I'd like to remind DiFi that the government once decided that slavery was also perfectly moral, so I'm sure that DiFi would have also supported slavery... After all, "the government" deemed that slavery was moral. Of course, it was also one of the reasons for the Civil War...

Who, other than democrats and other such fools, can be persuaded that the government can turn a moral wrong into a civil right?
I would wager it is the same fools persuaded to believe that co2 is a pollutant.
