Editors Note: In December 08 a retired CIA officer commissioned an investigator to look into the Barack Obama birth certificate and eligibility issue. On July 21, 2009 westernjournalism.com obtained a copy of the investigators report. Here is an unedited version of the report.
June 10, 2009 Report, updated July 18, 2009 The Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii
I think that I now understand the legal background to the question of where Obama was born.
Lets begin with the statement that Dr. Chiyome Fukino, the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health released on October 31, 2008. The television and print media used this statement as a reason to prevent and treat with contempt any investigation into whether Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii. But the language of the statement was so carefully hedged and guarded that it should have had the opposite effect.
There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obamas official birth certificate. State law (Hawaii Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record. Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawaii, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obamas original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.

When a non-member posts, one of the regulars will ping or Freepmail me or file an abuse report. And the post is removed. The caucuses have been around for so long, they usually also kindly inform the non-member of the guidelines.
In addition to the usual guidelines that apply to religious debate (click on my profile page for more) - neither the article nor the reply posts on a caucus thread may speak in behalf of non-members. In this example, if the article or a reply post spoke about Protestant beliefs the caucus would be broken and the thread opened (caucus label removed) so that the Protestants could speak for themselves.
Again, the "caucus" designation only applies to threads posted on the Religion Forum. There are no caucuses in News/Activism, Bloggers, Chat, etc.
The pro-Lifers were thinking about declaring a "pro-Life Caucus" and posting some or all of their threads to the Religion Forum. They decided against it because articles posted to News/Activism get more traffic.
Thank you very much. A very clear explanation! :)
I don’t think so. For attacking “birthers” maybe. The issue, not Taitz. GO back and read my past posts, I usually stay away from the Orly threads. I defend the issue. I admire her tenacity, certainly NOT her skills. People that have no clue what the meaning of discrete is, drive me crazy. If I had some incredible evidence in my hands, I can assure you I would post it here, not would I speak to a reporter. I would get it where it needed to go and to someone that was silently building their case and gathering evidence. ;-)
Therein lie some of the trouble.
-There are several pieces of evidence attesting to BHO’s Hawaiian birth. The COLB, newspaper announcements, his Indonesian school records, the statement of the Hawaiian Director of Health, just to name four. You may reject these pieces of evidence, but you cannot correctly claim there is no evidence.
-Over the course of his life BHO never claimed to be born anywhere other than Hawaii. Nor did his mother make any such claim.
-BHO’s grandmother never made any such claim. The recorded conversation where she supposedly said this was edited to make it look like this is was she meant.
Allowing public access to his birth records would satisfy some, but not all. Probably not even most. As very few of the folks who are worried about this would ever have or ever will support BHO anyway, he has little reason to do this. It certainly wouldn’t matter to those who take the stance that a Natural Born Citizen must have two citizen parents.
And no President ever has been required to provide the kind of proof that is now being demanded. This is something that definitely needs to be changed. Several Freepers are working on legislation for this. I am hopeful that they will be successful before the 2012 elections.
So you don’t have contempt for me, but you do have contempt for me? Are your multiple personalities arguing with each other today?
“We likes BuckeyeTexan. He’s our friend.”
“BuckeyeTexan disgusts us! Doesn’t he, precious?”
“Yes! We will destroy BuckeyeTexan, won’t we, precious?”
In fact it does. It says he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.
"Those announcments do not establish place of birth"
They were placed in the paper by the state agency that recorded the birth, which would only happen if the birth happened in the state.
"Then why is he filing that the case be thrown out of court before it is even tried? Seems to be "fighting release" to me."
No, it isn't the same as fighting release. Remember, as far as the Obama team is concerned, it already has been released. That some people won't accept that doesn't change anything.
If someone sues you, you have to respond. You are going to respond according to the proper procedure. The court first must decide issues of jurisdiction and standing, so that's what the filing are about. It's not Obama's lawyers that make those rules.
"The suit is about being able to look at the evidence."
That's not what the suits are about.
"Far as I know they have."
No prior president has been required to produce a birth certificate in order to serve. None have done so.
"Check their presidential libraries or the clerk of courts in their birthplaces. None of them are sealed."
What may be in their libraries after the fact is not the question. The question is about what they produced to prove they were eligible to be president in the first place.
How about to grow up and act as an “individual” adult, and NOT a cry-baby???
As a Christian that you profess to be, you probably have heard or maybe used it yourself: "We don't hate the homosexuals, but we hate their sins."!!!
Are your mind able to understand the similarities???
Got to run and see Glenn Beck now!!!
All your similarities are belong to us. You're really a lot of fun. I like Glenn Beck too.
That was news to me..

Wait a minute, are you saying Western Journalism has contributed to the Freepathon but they have not responded to their own post?
That seems a little improbably, doesn’t it?
Thank you Fred I’ll bookmark that..
I’m not here as much as many of you are so sometimes I miss something
No. Review the thread to which I posted a link. It had nothing to do with “Western Journalism.”
And no President ever has been required to provide the kind of proof that is now being demanded. This is something that definitely needs to be changed. Several Freepers are working on legislation for this. I am hopeful that they will be successful before the 2012 elections.
I agree with you that the mandate needs to be included to provide for certification of NBC in order to be sworn in as POTUS. My question to you is do you know whether this work is being done as a state legislation process or at the national level for say certification to the Electoral College?
I understand that all efforts are at the state level right now.
But then, only a few states (or one big one) actually need to do this for it to be effective.
Thanks. I agree the state level is the proper place to have the documentation filed when the place on the ballot is filed for. Even if only one gets it in place and the info is public then that should basically at least provide some assurance of the NBC issue to others.
Two citizen parents or otherwise. But something definite.
We don't need to do that, because you yourself are doing a fabulous job in reaching that point!!!
You’re so much fun. I just love your extra question marks and exclamation points. It really emphasizes your crazy statements.
