I intend to photograph the Beck gathering at SAFECO. 9/26/09
As a non violent demonstration., I would like to be accompanied by one or more liberals carrying (legally) holstered (unloaded) firearms. Realistic stage weapons or blank guns are also welcome but I am informed that these will also require carry permits.
My object is to provoke discussion and photograph participants. I would carry myself but do not own a gun and I am told it may take several weeks to get a carry permit.
Feel free to share. PLEASE ASK PEOPLE TO REPLY HERE.

Huh? You mean like challenge someone with a real gun to a *DUEL* and then get killed so they can point their finger at a real gun owner?
Yeah, I believe that. Sure. NOT!
No I did not say challenge someone to a *duel* so they can get killed and then point finger at a real gun owener... I said they could be provakative. A few ACORN types cause trouble—any kind of trouble. Then they claim to be Conservative/Libertarian Tea Party Goers...that is what I meant. They are already doing that.
Yeah, I believe that Sure. YEAH!

Depends on your definition of party and how determined you are to have fun...;'}All I'm prepared to do is get out whatever that takes. Walk out if I have to. Got it mapped. My end of the cesspool has a lot of woodland.

I think the war was started when liberals decided to be communists and overthrow the Constitution.
People who carry, even if they are dumb enough to carry dummy guns or unloaded guns, give support to 2nd Amendment rights.

Won’t make it past the inner suburbs of most cities. Being a pale resident of a city ain’t going to be a party.
I doubt that. Starting to see thugs out in the country now. They do drive, you know.

Please read the article: It’s a lefty Washington State professor calling for fellow liberals to show up at the Glenn Beck event wearing “unloaded” or non-functional firearms in holsters, not 2ndDivisionVet!! I’m not asking anyone to do anything... I live in Fort Worth, Texas, so I don’t think I’ll be there to see Glenn get the key to the city or whatever it’s about. Why would anyone openly carry an unloaded or fake firearm, unless they’re filming a movie or TV show?

Well, maybe they will get arrested, maybe not, but why would leftists want to open-carry at Glenn Beck other than to cause trouble? They don’t have to open-carry and they are not likely supporting the 9-12 project, so why are they there?

Liberal means liar. This a hairbrained leftist professor writing. The idea in this is to get TV imagery to smear the 912 movement as a bunch of insane gun totin’ knuckle draggers.

The guy looking for people to carry guns and come with him wants to cause trouble. That seems clear. People who cause trouble with guns risk doing hard time. At an event like this there will be plenty of witnesses and plenty of cops.

Agreed. I know Beck has been cautioning 9-12 participants to exercise patience and wisdom so as to avoid such a scenario.

Well we can hardly control what the opposition does but if they come openly carrying and do it in a peaceful and respectful manner I would call it a plus. They would end up showing armed citizens in a positive light.
If they act out they will get busted and their true partisan affiliation will be outed. Another plus for us.

Really radical, violent-prone leftist communists have no doubt had their FILL of Tea Parties from April, then into the Town Halls of July and August, then Van Jones, the President being told off, and Mega Tea Party in D.C., so some of the "chatter" I think I sensed, even from the Communist Party USA newspaper, is that they could well go to some of these Patriot, Take-Our-Country-Back events in order to stir up trouble. They were so boiling over with hatred at having eight years of now power in D.C., and then had this massive celebration early this year when they claimed it. Then they got arrogant. Then it began to crumble, in as little as four or five months.
Check their mentality. It may be well coming, folks--they will not like having this power taken from their hands, which they have only enjoyed for a little over a 1/2 year...and yet they had so many grand designs for the "re-making of America" which are now crashing down. That is how the extreme left operates, out of sheer desperation, and they have done this since the Bolsheviks in 1917. Stay on guard folks and stay safe.

I should have clarified; Washington has a 5 day period for the purchase of your pistol during which your Federal record is checked (the 4473 isn’t checked immediately, but sometime in the next 4 days). But only if you don’t have a CPL; if you have a concealed permit, you can walk out with your pistol.

The last two comments on this idiots blog seem to be coming from lawyers.
They also seem to hint that the police have been made aware of the situation.
He would do well to drop the whole thing.

nonymous said... At this point in the discussion you may want to drop the idea of open carry altogether. Loaded or unloaded, carrying a weapon in public to create "confrontation" is called brandishing under Washington state law and that is exactly what you are proposing to do. Brandishing is a threat and can be responded to with lethal force by the Seattle Police and anyone else who feels "threatend". They will not know that you have weapons and no ammo. In law enforcement the rule is if it looks like a gun, it's a gun, even if it's a stick, and if you brandish it or make a motion toward it during any "confrontation" the error in judgement is yours not theirs. Case in point is the recent shoreline shooting by 3 deputies, and the recent self defense shooting of the young man that was camping. The statements you have made in this blog constitutes a threat and the intent to brandish. As such you are now on the loosing end of the law from the very start. The owners of SAFECO field are now in a position to have you tresspassed off the premises and arrested the moment you show up. The content of the blogs would be used against you in court and you would be convicted. Maybe if there hadn't been so many death threats against various people who will be at this event it would be less serious. However for a Class "B" felony like Assault Second Degree, the firearm enhancement is three years. These enhancements apply even if the gun is unloaded and even if the person does not fire, or has no intention of firing, the gun!.
RCW 9.41.270 (1)
It shall be unlawful for any person to carry, exhibit, display, or draw any firearm, dagger, sword, knife or other cutting or stabbing instrument, club, or any other weapon apparently capable of producing bodily harm, in a manner, under circumstances, and at a time and place that either manifests an intent to intimidate another or that warrants alarm for the safety of other persons.
