I intend to photograph the Beck gathering at SAFECO. 9/26/09
As a non violent demonstration., I would like to be accompanied by one or more liberals carrying (legally) holstered (unloaded) firearms. Realistic stage weapons or blank guns are also welcome but I am informed that these will also require carry permits.
My object is to provoke discussion and photograph participants. I would carry myself but do not own a gun and I am told it may take several weeks to get a carry permit.
Feel free to share. PLEASE ASK PEOPLE TO REPLY HERE.
I’m a NRA member but there are times and places that an open carry is not a good idea. You’ll be playing into the hands of the radicals by challenging them by arming yourself. Libs have the right to open carry. I wouldn’t be too intimidated. It’s only if they begin to act belligerent. Then it moves beyond bearing arms into a question of intent.
Good point,the idea of a CCW is concealed carry,so just pack as you normally would and if they go for theirs,you`ll be justified in defending yourselves.Is that not the point of CCW permits in the first place?
The local police need to be notified.
That being said, this lib may want to video the event and have the gun-carrying libs pose as conservatives (perhaps acting badly).
I am contantly amazed at these lefty idiots that believe a civilian population with more fire power than the Red Chinese and Pakistani armies combined are just going to lay down while they take over our country. If just a couple of million of us showed up at a lead swapping event with only 10 rounds apiece, and every man or woman aimed for the groin of their target, all of the fight would leave the lefties after about five rounds were expended.

Idiot shows the typical liberal ignorance. Washington is an Open Carry State. Go to your local gun store, purchase what you want. If it's a rifle, you walk out with it. If it's a handgun, come back in 5 days after the Federal minimum wait, and pick it up, strap it on your hip, and go.
Of course, I loved the part about "unloaded"... I suspect a few of the Tent City types will be hanging around the parking lots, waiting to grab a few unloaded pistols from the libtards!

That’s what Van Jones was all about. Networks in the prison system, etc. It’s not the lefty goofballs in academia that would be doing the fighting. They’ll be the first ones thrown under the bus when all of this explodes. I pray it does not, I’m glad conservatives are armed to the teeth, but I agree we shouldn’t underestimate what is going on here. Funny story:

There is a difference between being perpetually angry and determined. Imagine this scenario:
1. A rural countryside surrounding an urban area. One where a city person does not realize the communication network can be faster than a news cycle. Surprisingly, the passage of trucks through that area supplying urban areas with food begins to dwindle to nothing. None of the rural locals has an answer.
2. A gang of Civilian Security Force folks decides to go after the 'rednecks'. Nothing is seen of their vehicle or their persons after the night they passed the city limits. No answers are available.
3. That nice old lady on the corner serves cookies to the local union/thug/Civilian Security Force meeting. She disappears, but all others in attendance suffer renal failure several days later.
There is a difference between hatred/fear and determined anger. In colonial days, loyalists of the Crown (for the most part IMHO), were identified pretty quickly.

If the author can't be permitted within time, their lack of inventiveness is laughable.
They could come with a bandoleer of rubber bands and paper clips, straws and paper wads, butter knives and peanut butter (someone's bound to be allergic).
