Here is video of Fox News' Megyn Kelly going ballistic during a segment discussing Michael Vick's public plea for forgiveness in a 60 Minutes interview last night, and his return to the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kelly does not believe he should be given a second chance in the NFL. As she discussed the topic with panelists, she got increasingly upset as what Vick did was described as a "mistake." That's when she went ballistic, saying:
"How can do you condone giving anybody that shows that side of his character a second chance."
Kelly clearly believes Donte Stallworth's manslaughter conviction was not as bad as what Michael Vick did.
Kelly closed with a direct shot at the Philadelphia Eagles, saying she will not be "patronizing that organization until Vick is gone." . . . . . . (Watch Video)

The torture, not the dogfighting, is what strikes me in the gut. Hes been punished and should be able to work now, but Ill never be able to look at him again without that bad feeling in my gut over the tourture. Yep. Charles Manson in a quarterback uniform. Creepy

I'm not that interested in acquiring further knowledge of villains but it actually is a good thing to teach children not to commit a crime. In the real world (as opposed to the sports world) it isn't so easy to get out of jail and find gainful employment. Go apply for a job and tell them you have a felony on your record and see how fast they hire you.

In the real world guys go to prison and come out and get a $1.9 million dollar contract because someone thinks they can play professional football. If you're scared, don't take your dog to the game and don't sit in the dawg pound in Cleveland.
Tell your kids that the bad man went to prison and now that he's out he has sought and obtained gainful employment. Tell him that someone was reasonable and kind enough to let him have a second chance. That's called redemption and christian charity. Tell your child you have the right to diagree and not buy tickets.
If you're the manager of PetSmart don't hire him. Now stop making inane comments to people on the internet about what the real world is like..

Usually, but some are just misguided and based upon vengeance rather than justice or Christian values. Difficult to place yours. Probably all three.

You don't think he knew about that?I never said otherwise. Too many of these sports "heroes" are always in trouble. The rest of the public would never get away with what they seem to. At least this one did jail time.

Thanks for the link.
I agree with Megyn, this is not just about breaking the law, it is a sickness.

I don't believe anyone's complaining about old Michael getting a job at the local lumber yard or as a trash collector. But, a lot of people - like me - who are paying thousands of dollars a year for season tickets have a problem with the league allowing this kind of garbage on the field. That's the key to this. No team should ask their fans to cheer this POS when he takes the field. I agree he has "paid his debt to society", but I could never support a team that would hire this guy.
If he'd done drugs, or made some other "mistake", I'd feel differently. But only a cruel and sick and evil person could derive pleasure from torturing animals the way Vick and his homies did. If either of the Texas NFL teams had hired him, I'd never watch either team again.

Then make them to the keyboard. Bye.

He served his time but that doesn't give him the right to play football for millions. Palying in the NFL is not a right. It's a job..and if the team owner is willing to hire him that's his RIGHT. Not your. Get over it.

The Link Between Animal Abuse and Serial Killers You have a point. When Michael Vick gets convicted of being a serial killer I say no more chances...

How long before Vick is in trouble again? he’ll be beating up a girlfriend, maybe drowning or electrocuting her cat; or shooting up a hotel room; or killing someone in a drunk driving accident in less than six months.
I’d bet cash money on it.

The first comment I made on this thread was not addressed to you. Any comments made after that were replies to comments you made to me. If you don’t care to be argued with you shouldn’t start and argument.

I’ve got no problem with being argued with. You’re the one that got rude about this. And by the way you did just chase me. I guess you always have to have the last word.
