President Obama brought up his grandmother's death to convince people Democrats don't want to 'pull the plug' on the elderly.
You may remember Presidential candidate Obama left the campaign trail on October 24, 2008 to fly to Hawaii and visit his terminally ill grandmother, Madelyn Dunham.
Madelyn Dunham passed away two days before the election.
President-elect Barak Obama decided to rest in Chicago after his grandmother's death.
Madelyn Dunham was cremated. A memorial service was held on November 15, 2008, but Barack Obama and his close family members were missing.

They may have sent her off to be cremated and then used the photo op of throwing her ashes into the ocean.
The people from Bank of Hawaii who really knew and worked with her arranged a memorial. It was in the Honolulu news.

She was a “typical white lady.”

My grandmother refused to leave the tiny shotgun shack she lived in in what was essentially a ghost town in central Missouri until she was too sick and senile to resist. This in spite of the fact that two of her surviving children were doing well enough to take her in and had asked her repeatedly to live with them. At the time we lived two states away and couldn’t visit very often. So I’m thinking that even if Obama had asked her to live with him and/or offered to put her in a nice house with staff, she may have flatly refused being of the generation like my grandparents and parents of intense self reliance. In this story I see one valid criticism of Obama - he should have been there to see her at least once every month or two for the years leading up to her death. But my son should call me more often and he’s a good person. Oh well.
This says everything I need to know about Obummer - these two quotes from Obummer’s book -
“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” and “I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race”
Immediately following that trip, his birth records were sealed by the state of Hawaii.
I'm convinced that the reason Barack Obama doesn't want anyone to see his official birth certificate is not because it would prove he was born anywhere else but Hawaii, but rather it would prove he was born half-reptile.

I wondered when someone was going to bring up this fact that he dilly dallied around after his grandmother passed away. He didn’t even pretend to take care of the funeral arrangements.
The quote from his book about his mother’s race tells me that Glenn Beck is spot on about obumbler being a racist. This quote needs to be sent to all those commie-loving advertisers boycotting Glenn’s show.
I have no data on the possibility, but it’s not uncommon for family members to arrange a private ceremony, with another later ceremony attended by others.
He couldn’t attend the service since he was too busy burying his Birth Certificate.

He didn't go to see her, he went to tie up loose ends. That's why he didn't take the wife and kids. The Honolulu paper had a timeline of the time spent at her apartment. IIRC, he didn't spend but about 5 hours total in the house and most of that was talking with his sister. I imagine he spent some of that time digging through the closet for his BC and vaccination papers and putting a match to them. I imagine a lot of papers and photos when into the fireplace during that visit.

Obama only saw her a couple of times in the last 2 years of her life - for a few hours total. His wife and daughter saw her once, on a visit measured in minutes.
I don’t think Michelle or Barry wanted on old white woman in their house.
Obama’s grandmother dying has nothing to do with teh health care debate. All Obama is saying is “Hey, I had a grandmother and she died”. It doesn’t mean he will make sure everyone else has the best health care.
My grandmothers died too. I was very close to them. One lived to be 100. Never would have happened under a government system.
It should be obvious to every American by now that Obummer cares not about his own family especially its white members. He casually throws them all under the bus when it is politically expedient and necessary to do so. This dangerous behavior should be a warning bell to all Americans that radicals care not about America or Americans, they only care about themselves and their egos, nothing or nobody else.
Yeah, I think he went to see her in her apartment before she died so he could secure paperwork, like his and his mother’s passports, birth certificates, school transcripts, etc.
For example, he placed Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel as his advisor on health care, and the DNC leadership made hoim a policy advisor to the congress. Ezekiel's own words about older people line much more up with Obama's actions than OBama's campaign style words.
