Hi Everybody, my mom (bootless) who is frequently on here more than me is having a really difficult time keeping up in this economy. She is working her a** off and is really stressed out, she is trying to get work, and keep me healthy and fed. She is doing a FANTASTIC job with her work and being with me.
If you could take 5 mins out of your busy day to write her a nice email, send her an ecard, or anything else you think she might like that would be really appreciated by both her and I!
Could you pray for her to keep her spirits up, to get enough paying work and to stay healthy and to not lose faith.
She works on proofreading, editing, transcription, research, database work, word processing, and more.
Thank you so much, God Bless America!!!, Bauerpauer
RE: “WHY DO YOU HAVE TO PUT YOUR TWO CENTS IN.. BUT ITS ONLY A PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHTS? WHERES THAT EXTRA PENNY GOING TO?”
That was answered on Cheers a number of years ago:
Cliff (I think it was Cliff): Another day, another dollar
Norm: 50 cents after taxes.
So that’s where the extra penny goes.
Thanks, Polly. (Actually, he’s a son, but it’s hard to tell online. :-)
He is very, very precious.
Thank you, Luv W. Bless you.
I think we are both blessed! You have a son to be very proud of...and I know you are.
prayer bump
:)
I think his post would be heartwarming to anyone who reads it. It certainly was to me.
I think a goodly number of us are having a hard go of it for varying reasons these days. It was uplifting to see that display of love from your fine young son.
I wish I could offer helpful information. Hopefully, there will be someone here who will read this thread and do just that.
I know it warmed my heart to hear my son offer to do this, and even more to see it. I’m so glad that he’s brightened more than one person’s day.
Lucy Jo, I’ve been in difficult straits before, and I’ve always been a survivor. This time is much more serious than ever before, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared. For a number of reasons (starting with a very serious surgery in 2003, which I remember for the wonderful prayer thread that spring), and some poorly timed decisions on my part, I find myself having to do even more with even less, with people who are very important to me depending on me to make it work. If it was just me, I could deal with that.
That, I think, is the most difficult and heartwrenching aspect of this...
Everyone, I appreciate your prayers, ideas and whatever else you may have on your heart more than you can possibly know.
God bless you all.
May God bless you dear bootless and your loving son, bauerpauer!
Alamo-Girl! How wonderful to see you here! Thank you for your blessings.
bootless.
I have received many posts from you over the years. I pray that you receive a calm grace from God as you deal with some difficulties right now. You do have a great son who is a FREEPER. You did a great job raising him that is for sure. I wish you the best of luck getting another job and getting your morale up. You are just having a low vibe time right now...we all have that at times. God Bless you and Keep your head held high!!!
Bless you, napscoordinator.
You’re right - I know he worries, and that’s not a kid’s job. Most of all, I want this weight to be take from his shoulders. Thank you.
Prayes to you and yours from the Lone Star State.
Hang on kids.
Thank you, cute picture!
Thank you!:)
Thank you... my son is the BEST. He even went to a Freeper rally with me the day that Katherine Harris certified Florida. He was walking around the intersection with a huge flag, and got flipped off by a lefty in a nice red convertible.
I can’t tell you how grateful I am for your prayers, care and concern.
It’s been a pretty horrible time (electricity was turned off - back on but took my remaining $ - car repo’d, not good at all...).
Bless you.
Hey sweetie - “you done good.” love you...
OK.
I know he worries, and thats not a kids job.
100 percent true, but if you did not do such a fantastic time raising him he would not even care. You make my heart feel so great knowing that your son cares enough about you to worry. God works in mysterious ways and because of your thread today I feel so full of life. Your son gives me such hope for our countries future and do you know that makes all of us feel really good. I know God is testing you today but his plan for you will make this so worth it. Plus giving FREEPERS hope for the future is amazing!!! God bless you and your son. I look forward to seeing what God has planed for you. It will be exciting that is for sure. I just want you to realize that this is a short term situation. Keep you head held high!!!
