This might be true, but until I hear the military say that they were restrained by Obama, I’m going to give the Kenyan Usurper the benefit of the doubt in this matter.

Is there any link confirming that this was how the rescue went down? The White House is saying it was a pre-ordered operation.

The Navy is now saying that they acted because “the Captain’s life was in imminent danger”. That to me sounds like they are dotting the “i” if you will with regard to restrictive rules of engagement, i.e. You may only engage the pirates if the Captain is in imminent danger.

From the foreign press, the first stories out say the Captain jumped overboard again, and the Seals on the ship were alert, when the pirates tried to retrieve him, the Seals fired.

Doesn’t seem to be the result of any action on the part of the PRES__ENT.

Only time will tell.

Well, this is the way I see it. The POS in he Oval Office did nothing but make this worse.

I give all the credit to the SEALS and the Captain. He probably knew if he didn’t do something soon, he was going to get squirreled away in some back alley in a Somalia port somewhere and then it is Katie bar the door.

I was so furious when they announced that President Obama had saved him. What absolute BULL )(*((*&&. He has said not a word and now, just like in every other case, he takes advantage of a situation to interject himself and make himself look good. These people have not a jot or a tiddle of descency. ANY other President would have said, “The Captain is free due to his own courage and the quick action of our Navy who took advantage of the situation and moved instantly, precisely and accurately. I am so proud of them all”....but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Obama has to stand up and proud point his thumb at himself............he makes me SICK.

BO wanted the pirates captured and prosecuted as common criminals in a U.S. court of law. What an asshole. The pirates deserved a well placed .308 through the heart.

There were SO many ways this could have gone wrong....

And all the while, the phone that had started ringing at 3 AM, went on and on, unanswered.

“Present”, but the call finally had to go to voice mail.

Rahm Emanuel was on the verge of letting this crisis go to waste.

And what is the fate of the US tugboat captured with twelve men on board?

Capt. Phillips was tied up, in the lifeboat. One pirate was on board the Bainbridge “negotiating”.

The other three pirates presented themselves at the same time, at the rear of the lifeboat, while the lifeboat was being towed by the Bainbridge to more calm waters. The life boat is enclosed, designed for survival at sea, with a hatch at the rear of the boat for access.

The snipers, located at the fantail, of the Bainbridge, saw that one of the pirayes had a weapon trained on Capt tain Philips, who was not visible.

It was determined that the Captain’s life was in “imminent danger”. A split second decision was made, while all three ppiratyes were targets of opportunity and the snipers took out all three pirates simultaneously, and the fourth pirate was taken into custody.

The kills were made from a distance of 25-30 meters from the Bainbridge.

The kills happened before any of the three could squeeze off a shot at Capt. Phillips. The lifeboat was boarded, Capt. Phillips was untied, a life preserver put on him, and he was transferred to the Bainbriodge.

He has showered, had a med exam, fed, no problems, in good spirits, and has called home to speak with his family.

He syas “ I am just a by-line the real heroes are the Navy and MArines and SEALS who rescued him.”

They are all heroes today, including the brave Captain who traded himself for his crew’s safety.

A more clear Easter story could not be told—the first Captain who traded His life for his crew’s happened 2000 years ago on Golgotha.

Gee ! I didn’t know Tammy Bruce had so many fans here !

Quoting Wikipedia:

“Tammy Bruce collaborated with Los Angeles professional women to create one of the first ad-hoc independent pro-choice (abortion rights) activist groups. The group’s early feminist activism began in 1987.[4] This group confronted anti-abortion group protesters, and helped develop a strategy to stop “Operation Rescue” from successfully blocking the entrance to abortion clinics. During the years 1987-1990 she also participated in the the Los Angeles chapter of the AIDS activist group “AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power”, also known as “ACT-UP.”[5]

For seven years, Bruce served as president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) (1990-1996), the longest continuous tenure in the chapter’s 30-year history. She mobilized activists nationally and locally on multiple issues affecting women, including economics, child care, health care, portrayal of women in the media, and violence against women, particularly domestic violence. Bruce served two years on NOW’s board of directors, but later criticized the organization in a book. During the early 1990s, she spearheaded the campaign to alert the public to the sexualized violence in the novel American Psycho, and led an effort to boycott all titles by that publisher, Knopf, for a year”

Not to take anything away from the Captain, the Seals or anyone else involved, but this ‘heroic behavior’ has happened on almost a daily basis in Iraq and Afghanistan, under another Commander in Chief, but I might add, reported on by the same MSM. Yet we have different spins. Hmmm.

It looks like the Captain may NOT have dived into the sea the second time.....at least it hasn't been verified.

The rumble is that he was still in the lifepod when the sharpshooters took out the three terrorists watching him.

Anybody have an update on this?

Man, I hope he dove in again.....Obama can't take the credit for THAT, try as he may.

Wonder if Zero spent hours consulting his teleprompters as to what to do.

If the pirates had, somehow, taken his teleprompters as hostage he'd really be up the creek.
